Awesome video, I'm sure your channel will grow drastically as you continue to branch out into a variety of games like this. The original Halo does have problems, but I think it's pretty easy to understand why it helped pioneer the fps genre and how it's held to such a high regard today.
I've only ever played Halo on PC, and there the vehicle controls feel incredibly natural, to the point I was surprised Nafan even said they were awkward.
interesting, i didn't even consider the pc controls. I just fired up the pc version and i do think they're less awkward due to the precision of a mouse, but the issue of camera control still exists. But i can definitely see how it'd be more natural!
I love the library. Learning the hard way about rocket flood, endless spawn corridors, and hold out sections just emphasized the floods tenacity for me which is the whole point behind the flood. They’re endlessly hungry and relentless. The library is the perfect level to hone in on that point. Fuckin love it
