Honestly, why fix something that isn't broken😉. This music gives me chills every time I listen to it and if it stayed for infinite that would be epic! I mean I wouldn't complain 💖
My girlfriend rented an Xbox in 2002 and we got a few games for a fun gaming night. We played this game coop and at 4 AM we realized how many hours we had been playing. Epic game.
I still remember playing Halo 1 as a kid. It wasn't the first game I played, but the first I can remember. It's hard to believe that was in 2001, fuck I'm old. I REALLY hope they bring back Martin. It makes me sick, that they fired him. Halo wouldn't be Halo without him. The music is as much a part of Halo as master chief.
This game brings back my childhood memories, i use to play Halo, Halo 2 with my dad all the time 4 player splitscreen, man id do anything to see my dad again
@@Dawson0471 That's cool. I'm 28, and I did have a good childhood. Well, some of my childhood was good... I'm honestly sorry if I seemed a bit rude before. I was trying to make a joke, but it may have seemed a bit mean.
So. You beat the Halo demo. Not bad, soldier, not bad at all. But are you ready to take the next step?! In the full version of Halo, you'll find additional vehicles like tanks, plasma turrets, and aircraft: powerful, new human and alien weapons; a single-player campaign spanning ten massive indoor and outdoor environments; and support for intense multiplayer battles with up to sixteen of your friends! ... Or enemies. All that wrapped up in an epic sci-fi story that's so freaky, it makes me shake just thinkin' about it. Halo: Combat Evolved. Buy one! Heck, buy two. That's an order, soldier!
I haven't played Halo 1 since a long time ago...so this is according to my memories... 0:01: [Bungie trademark appears Main menu. Start the game] 5:24: CORTANA: Echo-419! She's gone...calculating alternate escape route. The ship's inventory shows one Longsword fighter still docked in Launch Bay 7. If we move now, we can make it!!! 11:59: CORTANA: Sure you wouldn't rather take a seat? MASTER CHIEF: We'll be fine... CORTANA: If I still had fingers...they'd be crossed... 14:08: CORTANA: Cortana to Echo-419! We've reached the Gravity Lift and we're ready for reinforcements. ECHO: Copy that, Cortana. Hang tight, gentlemen. Foehammer out! 16:34: CORTANA: I didn't think there were any human forces left on this part of the ring. Cortana to Fire Team Zulu, I read you. Fire Team Zulu, this is Cortana. Hold position. We're on our way! 18:59: CORTANA: Interesting...the weather patterns here seem natural, not artificial. I wonder if the ring's environment systems are malfunctioning...or if the designers wanted the installation to have inclement weather... 20:56: CORTANA: We should head back to the shuttle bay and call for evac. No! Without the Captain...the Covenant have already won… 22:52: CORTANA: That's the last of them. ECHO: Roger that. I'm on my way. CORTANA: New traffic on the Covenant battlenet. I've found Captain Keyes! He's being held on a Covenant cruiser, the Truth and Reconciliation, a ship I disabled before we abandoned the Autumn... 25:18: 343 GUILTY SPARK: Flood activity has caused a failure in a drone control subsystem. I must reset the backup unit...please, continue on. I will rejoin you when I have completed my task. 27:13: CORTANA: That tunnel leads to the next section of the canyon. The final Pulse Generator we need to destroy is through there... 30:49: DROPSHIP VICTOR 933'S PILOT: Dropship Victor 933...Pillar of Autumn...need assistance...we are under attack by some new kind of hostile...isn't Covenant... 32:33: CORTANA: No human life signs detected. The Captain! He's one of them. We can't let the Flood get off this ring! You know what he'd expect...what he'd want us to do... 33:47: 343 GUILTY SPARK: Why naturally the Flood is simply too dangerous to release, and mass sterilization protocols may again need to be enacted. Ahhhh...I am a genius...heeheeheeheeheeheeheehe! 35:19: CORTANA: The entrance to the Control Room is at the top of the pyramid. Let's get up there! We should commandeer one of those ghosts, we're going to need the firepower... 37:15: CORTANA : We must be in the brig. These look like holding cells, there are probably multiple detention stations. The Captain must be in one of them...we need to keep looking for him... 39:06: CORTANA: I've located the Pillar of Autumn. It put down twelve-hundred kilometers up spin. Energy readings show her fusion reactors are still powered up; the systems on the Pillar of Autumn have fail safes that even I can't override, without authorization from the Captain. 40:21: CORTANA: This thing is falling apart! MASTER CHIEF: It'll hold. CORTANA: We're not gonna make it! Pull up!, pull up!...you did that on purpose, didn't you? 41:29: CORTANA: The Pillar of Autumn's engines are going critical, Foehammer! Request immediate extraction! Approach the crash site and be ready to pick us up at external access Junction 4C as soon as you get my signal! ECHO: Affirmative. Echo-419 going on station. 42:33: CORTANA: Wait. We should commandeer one of those banshees; we'll need it to reach the Pulse Generator in time... 44:06: [Grunts and Elites are sleeping and snoring] 45:05: CORTANA: Use the holo-panel to shut down the security system. Good, that should open the door that leads into the main shaft... 54:12: CORTANA: Alert! The Monitor has disabled all command access, we can't restart the countdown; the only remaining option is to detonate the ship's fusion reactors, that should do enough damage to destroy Halo! 58:34: 343 GUILTY SPARK: The installation was specifically built to study and contain the Flood. Their survival as a race was dependent upon it. I am grateful to see that some of them survived to reproduce. Doouhuumm...oh, hello... 59:35: MASTER CHIEF: Did anyone else make it? CORTANA: Scanning. Just...dust and echoes. We're all that's left...we did what we had to do...for Earth. An entire Covenant armada obliterated, and the Flood...we had no choice. Halo...it's finished... MASTER CHIEF: No...I think we're just getting started... 1:02:30: [End credits]
@@katzlover321 well😅🤣😂... I have been playing Halo CE since I was 12 till my Xbox broke some years ago. But I played many, many times. I had another games but this was the only one which I came back to again and again. Damn, it's so addictive
Uhh, your incorrect. Why must the original creators of this game be overshadowed by people who believe that god made this game. It's horrific how we attribute our greatest creations to have been made by god, its not this simple... 4 years late yes, but it must be said.
@@MarcABrown-tt1fp I'm not believing in God, it's just a way of speaking. Obviously Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori are geniuses. (4 years old I still like the soundtrack as much)
@@biotechv8809 You can believe in God. That's no problem. Religion has its merits. Or are you referring to Martin himself as gods? Hmm. forget I commented lol. 🤪
@@MarcABrown-tt1fp Let's not go on this ground. Everyone has his opinion. I see religion from the historical side so obviously it's not glorifying. No, not gods, just very talented people! Wow, the notification bell to report old responses from 4 years ago. It's a good thing on RU-vid: since they have total storage, we can discuss and find messages that date from a period of his life sometimes very different.
@@biotechv8809 Well to be clear your comment said that "gods have made this video and we have been transcend". which means exactly what it says. Also when did I glorify anything? I'm sure no one commented through the 4 years because it was so blatantly incorrect. it was white noise among comments. Granted this comment was made four years ago so that's nothing against you. I commented before I saw how old it was, Oops... 😶
There was a version of the music Perchance to Dream, with a woman doing no words..just an "ahhhh aahhhh.." here n there.I can NOT find it.Might you know where I can find it?
