Yea I feel like next season we are going to get that overpowered no emotion Master Chief now that Cortana has taken over John. It also was true lots of people were upset that John was so emotional because that wasn't how he was in the game.

From Master Cheeks to Zombie Chief. I am actually curious to see what happens in season 2. This feels like a soft reboot

you guys missed a lot of obvious breakdowns that can truly critique this show. part of that takes away from having or understanding insider information on the development of the show and how its supposed to look like not how it translate. wish you would critique more and not enjoy it.

Cortana controlling chief (Permanently) for next season is the worst thing they can do. It made sense in that moment for that scene but Master Chief and Cortana have always been separate and needs to be that way.

this show is trying to tell us why he is the way he is in the games through character development.. it's unfortunate that most people can't see that

I loved the series I thought it was a good twist on halo. If we never saw kwan-ha and Soren again though I’d wouldn’t mind. But as for chiefs story I think it’s really good. I love how when Kai said “John is that you” we as the viewers knew yes it’s master chief! But Kai knew it wasn’t John anymore

A lot of people can’t understand that this is a prequel and he isn’t the master chief from the games yet.

at 17:57 that was Cortana flying the ship, not the marines. Kai had to shoot Makee to get Master Chief free; i also think Kai was jealous of Makee that she was taking John away from her. I think, Kai is developing feelings for John (not Master Chief) but, is having internal issues separating John from Master Chief. I loved the entire first season, bring on Season two!!!!!!!!! bottom line, the show had to balance giving gamers a lot, but, they also had to attract non-gamers with other than gaming story to get them to enjoy and become fans of the show. i think they did an excellent job doing it too. it's just like MCU movies, they have to do stuff for the casual/non comicbook fans too as they probably make up more of the ticket buyers than purely comicbook fans. Bring on Season Two!!!!!!

People expect tv show to be like the game, you dont play tv show guys, you watch it. I like the show ass a show not as game

I agree with both of them. They both have great opinions. I wish the showsrunners would use more sources and materials from the game or the books. Because there is so much material, good stories and so on in the game and the books. And it blows my mind they didn’t use any of it. Barely any Halo music. The show have potential and in the final episode it’s a step in the right direction and i am hyped to see what the coming season have to offer. And please, remove Kwaan from the story. No one cares about that whiny character.

The battle was awesome, that og theme song as the battle theme and Chief (game) making his debut was amazing. I'm so pumped for season 2 and I think in season 2, we're for sure gonna see The Fall of Reach

I think in the second season Cortana and John will be separated, but Cortana will not be able to bring John back completely, he will be damaged. So Cortana, who became more human, will teach him to be human again. (excuse my English, I'm using the translator 😁)

l hope makee will be back , l loved their love story and this end make me sad for that and the fact that he changed.

🤔 I love it too. I really played only the first Halo on pc and that s all but I wish to play more. Also, I wished Makee would have stayed on the human side, but I guess it was not ment to be... Same for when touching the artifact before being killed by Kay. Maybe Kay could have only throw a rock at Master Chief to wake him up, not having to shoot Makee :)) However, as you said, there is no home for her, neither with humans, neither with covenant...Maybe on Madrigal? :) with the magic ones? To activate the portal? Who knows? Beside that, it was really dope to see Cortana taking over and shooting without even looking. I wished she would have killed or shot Mercy as well (or those sacred guys, who just stayed and watched the fight... ) Beside that, I'm confused with Halsey clone. I was not aware that they can communicate. I was thinking they have to die the next morning when waking up or something. Same confusion for Riz and Vaneek, who I'm not sure if they remove their palets or not? If they are still resistent to hormonal activity and have no emotions, did you observe them becoming more jovial in the ship towards Covenant planet? I was thinking that sarcasm could have been human trait as well :) I hope they find Halsey sooner and kill her or something . She was so close to being captured by Kay if the assistant guy didn't hit Kay with that metal thingy and got distracted... Damn Halsey is smart. Too manipulative too. I wish her daughter will lead UNSC better than anybody and that together with Kuan Ha and other good forces, they will find Halo or end this war. LOOKING for season 2. Can't wait.

“You can’t compare this to the games” haha like why not just make something else then? Because you want all the cheddar from halos audience. This was just an insult. We didn’t need an origin story for a character we have cared for for over a decade..

This episode was a 5/10 for me. Some of the battle was cool, most of it was stupid tho. All the plot stuff was terrible, either way its by far the best episode of the season. And the season i would overall give a 2.5/10 and thats being generous.

having no Kwan and Master Cheeks in the episode makes it so much better 💯
