Could be the last series of the year so I appreciate all the likes you drop on this one fam! Edit: So I had to unlist the video till launch but it will be public again shortly. Those that have the link can view it still.
I love how he’s experimenting and discovering all the fun things he can do with the mechanics as the game goes on. I remember doing the same thing. That’s the mark of a great game: “I wonder can I do… oh shit I can whoaaaa”
Every now and then, specifically when games like this drop, I come back and strap in for the ride Glad youre still around man, I remember first finding you when Halo 4 was released
Halo Reach. Hands down the most “realistic” Halo game in the franchise. I just love the story and its atmosphere. Its grounded in reality and not stuff like spartan pounding. When the game was out I just remember the late night custom games, sleepovers, playing the campaign with my brother, and it just brings back a lot of great memories!
I gotta say, ODST has the most nostalgia for me. Staying up late with my buddies all staying the night, seeing how far we could get into firefight. Ah the good days. Played the infinite multiplayer, but would love to play the campaign. Thanks for the video Brad!
Halo 3 and Reach. Halo 3 was the my introduction to halo, whenever i played shooters back then (I was like 9) i didnt feel any real emotional attachment to characters, my mate told me "once these guys die, they never come back" (he was referring to the ally soldiers). All of a sudden i started rushing in first trying to protect them and I always got sad whenever i saw them die. I remember it vividly and it was great. What a way to introduce proper empathy. I will never lose that feeling.
the grunts dialogue is just amazing and fits their character perfectly. and i love how it shows their fear and description of chief. it really shows the belief system and what theyve learned ab the humans and chief himself.
Halo 3 has got to be my favourite Halo title so far. I still remember finally saving up enough to buy an Xbox 360, Xbox Live Gold, and Halo 3. Unboxing it all was surreal. It was my very first experience playing any kind of game online against other people. What an experience! So many good memories made with my best friend in high school playing multiplayer and replaying campaign missions.
Same for me, it was my first time playing multiplayer and by far the best fps campaign I'd ever played.... I got the Xbox 360 that came with the Halo 3 controllers... Still nostalgic to see those controllers
Hands down, Halo Reach was the most enjoyable Halo to this day for me. Found your channel back in 2014 watching Saints Row 3 and been a follower ever since. Love you Brad and may you throw chairs.
i had both enjoyed halo 3 qnd halo reach more than anything, the multiplayer splitscreen with my brothers and cousins up till 8 am no sleep, it was a big part of my gaming life, i still remember making our own forge map and playing in it
I'm shocked Halo Reach isn't that high for a lot of fans. Reach had everything imo. Good Forge, Multiplayer, good selection of weapons, and amazing campaign. Aged well for a 7th gen game. Most people seem to prefer Halo 2 or 3 tho
My favorite halo is Reach, solely due to the dynamic it introduced to the original halo gameplay. The customization, the variety in weapons, the ability to sprint or jet pack and not be way over the top, overall one of my favorite halo's by far. I found your channel back in like 2013, and I've always looked for your storyline gameplays because they're relatively concise and you - for the most part - get through with ease. I'm hype as hell to play this campaign.
@@NashKetchum jetpack really wasn't that bad. It helped reach to higher levels but the thrust wasn't enough to eject you to safety, it didn't change how much damage you took, following someone using a jet pack with whatever gun you were using was linear 110% of the time. Genuinely not as bad as you think. I preferred sprint even, because the mobility was faster than a jet pack
Halo: Reach is definitely one of my favourites because unlike the main series where you feel invincible, Reach really gives you a sense of mortality as you see the rest of noble team be picked off one by one and then knowing that there's nothing you can do to save Noble 6 in the Lone wolf mission was the icing on the cake. I think the first time I encountered your channel was during the Dead rising 3 days, geez that was so long ago.
This is sooooo sweet!! I can’t believe I’m getting choked up at the cut scenes. Oh the memories and times I’ve spent with Master Chief and the Halo universe since 2004. Thanks for posting mate!!
Halo: Reach, I’m never gonna feel that feeling of awe and wonder like I did playing reach for the first time as a kid, it’s my favorite game. I found this guy back in 2014, love his content 👌🏽
Halo: Reach is iconic for me. It was my first Halo game and expanded what I thought an FPS game could be, both in terms of story and gameplay. I ended up finding your channel in 2016.
First time I started watching you was your fallout 4 walkthrough. I know I haven’t been here fore long but glad you still love doing these. Glad you, everyone still loves bed halo, and the memories it brings. Thank you bungie, for the memories, for halo reach; one of my favorite games. Thank you 343 for carrying on this legacy
Halo: Reach is extremely special to me. As a kid, I thought the game was fun and didn't know the story or paid attention to it. It wasn't until I was ten with Reach where I paid attention to what I played. Been hooked ever since.
@@zaneodraino4998 The darkness of the story is what sold me on the seriousness of the universe actually. I was one of those kids who skipped cutscenes because he just wanted to play but Reach made me play games for stories too
My favourite halo game is halo combat evolved, it has that nostalgic feeling but it’s also got great graphics for its time and when I first played it I was so hyped, Halo CE made my childhood and I look back now and I’m grateful I got to experience that masterpiece
I saw this video a mere two hours after it was uploaded and i clicked on it immediately but it took me awhile to press play, in fact I still haven't as I write this. This game franchise means so much to me, I remember every moment of it as I grew up playing it, all my reactions. The uplifting Halo theme that I can't wait to hear again, the horror of encountering the flood for the first time and every time after, my frustration as I faced off against the elite piloting the scarab in halo 2. I remember the hilarity of accidently dismounting a ghost midflight, the moments of epic heroism, the jokes, the sadness, the rises and falls of a story well told. My thoughts and feelings for this franchise cannot be summed into words, the best way to describe this franchise is to look at the multitude of fans across the globe who adore this game as much as i do. Halo Infinite ∞
You know you've made a name for yourself when I finally have interest in a game and want to see it and immediately I look you up. I haven't watched a video of yours in a while not due to you being a bad RU-vidr but simply I haven't had interest in many of the new games coming out. Thank you for all you have done in the past when I couldn't afford games or a gaming system of my own and would spend the time here on your channel watching your playthroughs.
Halo Reach was the game that made me fall in LOVE with the Halo franchise. Assault on Sword base was my favorite mission from that game. But I've been following Mr.Rad Brad since MW3 came out; I was 9 when I found this guy and now I'm 18 entering my second semester of college... how time flies 😅
Halo 2 is my favourite. Best story, introduced dual wielding and being able to use the energy sword. Also playing as the arbiter along side the covenant was sick.
Arbiter was a part of the Heretics (later becomes the Banished) who was on a mission with other Banishees to prove their worth and get back into the good grace of the covenant
Halo : CE will always have a special place in my heart not just because it's the first in the series but it's the game that truly captured the mysterious feeling of wandering around an alien world, a mysterious ancient alien race we know nothing of and the first time learning about the flood and why the Halo was built was truly something that I didn't quite feel in the later entries in the series. Looking up at the ring arching high into the sky for the first time invoked a feeling in me that no other video game has ever done. And probably never will.
you said it so perfectly my man! it was more than just a game it was a journey and experience like no other. i was completely memorized and put under its spell. the magic was gone in halo 2 and so on.
Despite struggling through Cairo Station as a kid and all the sniper Jackals, Halo 2 is probably my favourite Halo game to this date. Being able to play as the Arbiter really changed things up when I was so used to playing as Chief all this time. Amusingly, the first series I watched on your channel was Halo 4, and have been a viewer ever since. Keep it up Brad!
amazing mission cairo station when the covenant landed, tried to push through with the bunsen burner and we got to use the battle rifle and smg the first time
Halo 3 bro c'mon. Old school halo fans didn't like the sprinting or armor lock. CTF BTB on Valhalla or Sandtrap was the greatest online multiplayer experience
I'll always have those memories of playing Halo CE, 2 and 3 all those years ago, but for me the peak of halo gaming was Halo: Reach. Reach with forever be the most fun gaming experience I ever had. From the awesome campaign, to online multiplayer, to the player customization, to building all day in forge world with friends. I have never had a more rich gaming experience since then. Makes you wish you could go back to those days.
it’s hard for me to pick a favourite tbh. atleast out of the OG trilogy.. i love all three. Reach is amazing as well. but Infinite is a breath of fresh air for me as a Halo fan. such an amazing game tbh!
Think of how far brad has come to have friends at Microsoft the level of recognition he got over the year. Truly the best of the best I'm a recent fan of yours since 2011 being watching your videos.
I've been watching Brad since 2013, even before i had this account. It's crazy when I think about how many part Ones I've watched. I still enjoy them as much as i used to back then and i know that for a fact that this will never change. Stay awesome Brad, you're amazing :-)
My favorite Halo was ODST, the mystery of it all, not being a Spartan and feeling lonely, fragile vs your usual spartan or elite counterpart through the previous campaigns. Always loved your walkthroughs since like 2017 ish. I hope to see even more from you.
Halo 3 was my first experience to the game when I was 11, it was also the very first game I played on Xbox and I have so many fond memories of playing after school with my friends and all of us just playing split screen on one tv while we tried to kill each other. Great times, definitely my favorite
Hands down, Halo 2 will always have a special place in my gaming heart, from adding dual wielding to hijacking vehicles and following up Combat Evolved with a solid story! Also first followed this channel back when theRadBrad did the original The Last of Us walkthrough and have been a frequent viewer ever since!
Wow the opening part has been done sooooo well I'm glad they held off to get it done properly. As always you have done a good job of showcaseing this game. You and a few other RU-vid craters inspired me to make my own Chanel. Keep up the hard work!
I played Halo 3 splitscreen for years with my friends but Reach was the first Halo game that I owned when I got an Xbox 360 for Christmas. Your multiplayer armor customization became so much more meaningful when it showed up in the campaign itself. It really deepened your connection to Noble 6 and made the fall of Reach feel that much more impactful. Love your videos man! Found you back when Battlefield 3 came out!
Brad ive been watching your gameplay for 8 years now and im loving it man I hope you give us many years of gameplay to come Thanks Brad for the games!!
Halo reach for me was my all time favourite. There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t like in reach. Campaign was so immersive and the multiplayer felt so polished. The customisation was great as well! Bungie definitely went out with a bang with reach
My favorite Halo was the first Halo, when I was a kid my friends and I used to have halo downloaded on a small external drive plug in and play it in our computer class. Some of the fondest memories Ive had growing up. Love the amazing content Brad I've been watching since 2018 with your Jedi: Fallen order and God of war playthroughs! Have a great night Brad keep up the amazing work!
I didn’t get to play halo when I was a kid. I was 16 when I started actually playing video games consistently. I missed out on all the Call of duty’s, gear of war , and halos. But I relived the nostalgia through my friends. Almost feels like I was there.
Halo Reach is my all time fave, I remember watching vids of yours that first came out- now that's six years ago. Time to me is honestly crazy, I've watched your content since 2013 when you played Bioshock infinite and I've instantly been hooked ever since. I loved watching your channel grow, and I loved watching you grow as a person. You've helped me in ways I cant explain. Thank you for this Journey RadBrad, it will not be forgotten.
I love Halo: Reach. it was the third game I played and there was something different than 3 or 2. I loved the campaign and how you could customize so much about your character.
halo 3 hands down my favorite game, the cutscenes would bring me to tears even at 8-9 years old, and fighting alongside the arbiter and building that bond was amazing. i always wanted to be master chief because he was the coolest person i could ever think about. even now at 20 he still is my favorite video game protagonist of all time, i grew up with him for 20 years of my life ever since a baby sitting in my dads lap while he played at the launch of CE. HALO RULES!!
Halo CE will always be my favorite game. The mystery and intrigue nature of that game was extremely special. And I found your channel in 2017 Brad. And I am very glad I did! You are one of the nicest people I have seen on RU-vid
@@jimdavies9354 I loved some of aspects of it like the terminals and skulls and some visuals but overall it felt weird, like the level 343 Guilty Spark looked too bright, had Unggoy blood during elevator ride removed etc. Some parts were overtextured. So I prefer to play on the original graphics in some parts just to get the old feeling .
The original Halo. I remember being in college and having land parties. We got in trouble at our apartment complex for drilling holes in the floors to run the cables for our parties. I found you a few years ago. I work a lot and I get my gamer experience through your game plays. I appreciate it all.
ODST was always my favorite, the pacing, graphics, story was the best imo, and not being a super soldier in tank armor really puts the difficulty in perspective. found your channel 6 years ago with Fallout 4, man time goes by fast, keep up the good work!
Halo 2 will always be the greatest FPS game I’ve ever played. So many great memories with my brother and uncle staying up all night playing. Found your channel when you were playing DR3. Btw nice job of having the video at an hour and seventeen minutes for 117
Halo: Reach. The story was great, game play fantastic, and what a way to end Bungie's tenure with Halo. Not to mention. It was the peak of Xbox Live multi-player. So many friends made and lost. Not to mention, it gave the fan base a more solid representation of other Spartans from our Master Cheif. EDIT: Also just noticed what you did with the length of the video. Nice touch!
My favorite halo game is reach, and I found you a few years ago looking for playthroughs. You're always the one I go to cause you have them up so fast speed unrivaled.
By far, my favorite Halo game is Halo 2. The story line, the game play and the pure nostalgia of playing it on the OG Xbox as a kid with my family, it brings back so many good memories.
I've been watching you since Dead space 2. Back then I used to watch since I neither had a pc nor a console. I loved watching your lets plays since it gave me the opportunity to enjoy the game without even playing it. Words can't convey how much I enjoyed watching your gameplay. I hope many others feel the same. Keep doing what you do best Brad.
I’ll never forget the day I first played Halo: Combat Evolved for the first time. Countless hours devoted to the campaign as well as playing with my friends in multiplayer. That being said. Halo 2 changed my life and will forever be the pinnacle Halo game in my eyes. Love what you do Brad. I don’t comment much on your videos. Actually think this is the first time ever. I’ve been with you since Dead Space. You helped me mentally through that horrific nightmare 😂😂 keep up the amazing play throughs and commentary. OG king of walkthroughs on RU-vid.
Halo CE: was the 1st game that I played and grew up with. The nostalgic of replaying it makes me wish games today were made the same like the early 2000s
Reach was my favorite campaign-wise. But I remember having an x-box original lan party back in the day for when Halo 2 released, one of my greatest memories. I found your channel a few years ago when you were running through Dead Rising 3. You're one of the chillest walkthrough RU-vidrs out there. I love your content Brad, keep it up!
I loved Halo Reach… it was Bungie’s swan song, in my book. 🥰 Love what Halo Infinite has to offer - and love that you’ve got the game on your channel! Can’t wait to see what’s coming!
Nothing will ever be able to replace the first 3 halo games. They were masterpieces of their time and I miss those days so much. Especially halo 3, that was probably one of the best campaigns ever..
The original Halo game, Halo: Combat Evolved will always remain a special place in my heart. It's one of the first co-op games I played with my brother on the original xbox, Halo edition which we still have. Forged so many memories playing that game non stop for years. Didn't even get the other titles until they were released on steam.
I’ve been watching Brad since the time he did a playthrough of Halo 4, maybe 9 years ago because I couldn’t afford an XBox One at the time, even before I owned a RU-vid account. Have been following him ever since. My favourite Halo has got to be Combat Evolved, that’s my childhood right there, countless playthroughs, milking as much out of the game as possible. Would be nice to get a code for the game, but if not, I’m more than happy to live vicariously through you Brad 😉
Halo: Reach is my favorite. Has a great story line and the multiplayer was amazing fun. Played that multiplayer for a very long time. one and a half years almost religiously i believe.
Halo: Reach, it represents the pinnacle of Bungie’s tinkering with the Halo formula. The graphics still hold up thanks to strong art direction, the sense of movement is intoxicating, each weapon packs a mighty wallop, and the supremely paced campaign is easily the best story mode to come out of the series. Until now?
Well that's your opinion. The multiplayer was where the decline started and the campaign while good fucks with the Fall of Reach. Also Halo 2 exists and that campaign sets up so much for the whole Halo universe whereas Reach tells a single story without much around it.
@@thel8815 Aye I agree Reach is a good game but honestly u can't compare it to the 3 originals in my opinion . Halo CE, well is Halo ce, that should tell u everything Halo 2 has the best campaign Halo 3 was halo's pinnacle when it came to multiplayer Not to mention Halo 3 is basically the balance of all the Halo games amazing campaign, multiplayer memorable environments
I remember I found your channel back in 2013 when The Last Of Us launch. I fell in love sito your channel and since that I’ve been following you through many series. Thanks for that, Brad. My favorito Halo game def is Halo 3. That last big Bungie game gaves me a lot of nostalgic because I remember spending tons of hours playing MP with my friends after highschool.
I think Halo 3: ODST was my favorite in the franchise, and reach was my second. There was just something so dark and gritty from ODST, the fact I wasn't a spartan and just seeing the aftermath and what lead up to the destruction. I remember playing it for the first time at a friends house during a sleepover and being scared of one of the missions. It was depressing yet still purposeful. Very few games nowaday do that and I really wished they my another ODST, I love the atmosphere.
I've always loved halo 3 as a marker for a time where I was getting into multiplayer as a kid. I think the earliest I found TheRadBrad was around the original black ops campaign I believe. Long time since then! Keep doing your thing :)
My favourite is Halo 5, i always found myself subconsciously booting up the game and playing it for hours at a time! I would say I found your channel as a child in 2012 where I watched your dead space walkthrough but it was after 2016 when I did properly start watching you :)
Halo 5 is your fav?? But the story sucks, I mean, the general gameplay is pretty good, but the campaign is hot garbage my man, I respect your opinion but this is a surprise to me.
Yes Brad. halo has been my favourite game since I was young, I remember completing each game on each difficulty, then speed running them. Also completing them with my childhood friend, Spend thousands of hours playing them. The grapple with make a brilliant feature to the game, as for favourite game, I don’t think I could choose one, second or 3rd. Look forward to the next upload 💚
My very first halo was Halo 3: ODST I know many think it is trash, but as I grew up and played through and enjoyed all the other halo games, and then learned more about the lore beyond the games, I realized there was something very grimly satisfying about being something less than a spartan.
I've never actually played Halo, so there you go. I've been having a ton of fun playing the multiplayer and I was hoping to watch someone's walkthrough of the campaign (since I can't afford that nor Xbox Game Pass) and you were the one suggested! Long time subscriber here! Can't wait for more videos! :)
Halo: CE was my first video game ever, definitely holds a special place in my heart. Fun fact: never actually finished the campaign because I was too young and I've just never gotten around to going back...
@@sketchy3415 Does it get better every time because the more you play it you the more brain cells you lose from playing such a trash game that you're so dumb now you'll think anything is good?
Brad as much as i love your content and the work you do i can’t watch this because of spoilers i will however watch this when I finish a lot of it though on Wednesday
I can’t believe you have 12.9 mil I been here since The Last Of Us and I’m like amazed it’s crazy how much you’ve grown but like I always said you deserve this
this looks amazing! fr fr. remember watching a lot of dying light years ago (2015?) and enjoying the experience with you since I didn't have a console at that time. Thank you for everything you do Brad and have a great day!
Keep up the great work Brad!! I discovered your channel back in like 2014-15 and been hooked ever since. Every time I wanna buy a game I watch you play first lmaoo. My favorite Halo is Halo Reach or Halo 3 ODST
Been watching since like 2012, I actually haven't watched one of your videos since probably 2018. This is awesome, I'm really glad you're still making the same great content you've always made. Really takes me back to a better time watching your videos, man.
Been around watching you for a long time Brad! Started watching you back when you were doing your Dark Souls 2 walkthrough! You never stop being entertaining man, it’s been cool to watch you and your style develop and change! Also, my favorite HALO game is, and always will be HALO 2.🤙
I've played the original halo like 5 times from start to finish for no reason 🤣I absolutely loved it. And my brother, uncles and I used to play it online and it was my best childhood memory so it has a big place in my heart 😁
My favorite Halo game was most likely Halo: Reach. It was the first ever game that I actually beat. I've always had fond memories of playing Halo with my best friend. Online play was my favorite thing to do with my friend. Halo is just such a good game
Halo 2. So many good memories playing with my brother Connor who passed away March 21, 2016. I miss and love him so much and haven’t been able to really play video games much since then. I just watch channels like your because it reminds me of the good times I had with him. Thanks again for making great content. I’m greatful.
Halo Reach was by far my favorite Halo game, it was my first Halo (that I remembered playing with my dad) I loved how I could have my own spartan in the story, the experience was breath taking and just amazing. Halo Infinite sorta reminds me how I felt about Reach and that's something I really like about this game.
