Halo Infinite - Defeating "Myriad" (Hunters) on Legendary. 

Is it really legendary? Bcuz it doesnt feel like lengendary. Your Gadget shield held obviously too long enough.

Is that the BR-75 Breacher or a skin for the regular BR? And if it's a skin, how is it available in singleplayer?

I tried the scorpion approach at first but couldn't maneuver it well in the battle, then I tried the laserback tactic but my marines all died, ended up using dropshield, thrusters, disrupter and br variant to kill them. Was fun. Also, don't sleep on the fully upgraded recon utility. Being able to see their health helps alot

I just entered with a Scorpion and kept my distance, basically using it as artillery to pick off the higher damage targets. Then I focused down the Hunters, my Scorpion barely managed to scrape through the fight.

Why would you refuse to do that Whay possible enjoyment could you get from going I dont want to learn how to shoot this gun for max.damage I'm legitimately confuaed

@Alex Luca if he’s got a group of marines he’s not gonna blindly rush the enemy since he prioritizes protecting his soldiers

Yeh I wanted to have a longer more epic fight, I did have a full razor back with sentinels for when I took down Bilbao (video on the channel) but I love these epic battles and it was cheesy but alot of fun

They really are bosses in themselves even when found around the world or mid mission

Thank you very much, I intended to bring some realism and strategy to my engagements when I can, feels more immersive

When i was a DS (or directing staff) i used to train my troops on section and platoon attacks heres my assessment on one point i really liked. Then I loved when after the vehicle became disabled in the lake, you realised the shield that you deployed (usualy a smoke grenade that provides soft cover not hard cover) that was covering your marines from hunter suppressive, enemy fire. Was about to fail due to the time out, like a good frontline section/platoon commander you moved back to remove yourself from the heat of the battle to make a quick RECCE of the ground and found a great flanking and position to the left behind some decent hard cover for your section to fire from (most underlooked moment i think). Obviously the marines fought valiantly and eventually were KIA, credit to the commander giving them the best opportunity for survival though.

Obviously there was more great points lol ;)

To be honest i think the developers should design halo esque smoke grenades and have the algorithm treat the Ai as under clocking or somthing, now that they have the open world, strategies from using smokes are endless, cover from sniper fire, cover to flank, reveal cloaked enemies, make enemy flyers difficult to engage and force a zugzwang (chess definition). discover wind direction for long range snipes and at some points in the developers know this because some side marine rescues we see marine have deployed smokes as a use to signal for help.

@@opulenthalo Right now Chief is awesome in many ways. We need ODST call outs. and AC 130 like support. This game exist right here. COME ON 343i just do it. We need to convince them. It's natural to see Halo evolve in this direction. I played the game but never imagined this. Imagine that you have a small carrier of operations where you send in yourself in an insertion pod. This carrier could supply weapon pods, vehicles and troops on demand. We are so near for this to happen.

@@opulenthalo of course man! It’s refreshing to watch someone play it so cleanly, I personally just loaded up a Razorback for the majority of the campaign. You really inspired me to try another playthrough from a different perspective!

Try a full razor back of arcane sentinels... it's crazy easy

Wrong i used a scarab for most and that was the easiest. After you get the sentinel beam variant you use a razor back with only that and one shot all bosses left.

@@opulenthalo Agreed, they are too fast and even if you use the grappling hook + double thruster it's hard af to get behind them

@Alex Luca Also I heard that the needler was decent against Hunters. I tried it on a green pair on Normal. Takes a lot of ammo if you only use needler, but it's a great choice if you've run out of heavier things to throw at them.

Not on legendary it seems, havent played on any other difficulty yet, these hunters are formidable opponents even when they're not HVT, regular encounters with hunters feel like mini boss fights on their own

Me too: I just flew up there in a Wasp and pounded the fuckers with the Wasp's guns and missiles until they were both dead. I fucking HATE fighting Hunters!!!

@@opulenthalo nah they're insane if you don't rush in - play max range and let the marines do the work. The wasp feels garbage on legendary though for saying how OP it looks in MP....

@@opulenthalo yeah it took a lil while because the wasp rockets dont do a ton of damage and it's not a terribly tanky vehicle but was fairly easy

By the time I fought the Myriad Hunters, I already had broken loadouts such as the Arcane Sentinel Beam and the Volatile Skewer. I probably had like 3 beams and 2 skewers

@@MCSPARTAN501 yeh I had all them but I chose to do them on a more grounded scale, didnt want it to be too too easy like when i took out Bipbap with a razor back full of arcane sentinels😅
