You can cross regions but you have to exactly follow the bridge so you have to nearly scrape the ground.

To descend; TAP the descent button, then get back in and hold the descend button, and it’ll work without killing you

I just tried this, it kills you instantly as soon as it rises

2:50 So I just found this out thanks to my dad but you can go from island to island with it but you have to fly across the bridge and you have to be low enough like you're driving across it. It's really specific but it works.

Ever since I played halo 3 as a kid it has been my wet dream of legit being able to fly a pelican like an actual vehicle.

Yup still works. If you die during the attempt don't try again as soon as it reloads...you won't have enough time. Wait for the Pelican to leave, recall it and catch it on the way down...that only took me 20 tries to figure out! Oh and there is no prompt for cockpit entry...just hold X as soon as you're close.

Took me a few tries. You've gotta be really fast and not drop on the wings when you get out of the banshee. Oh, and grapple will NOT latch onto the pelican which makes it that much harder. Good luck to any triers out there!

I like how they code it to where we can fly it smoothly with almost no glitches but yet we don’t get to use it in PVE nor Campaign

everytime i go to hop on top, i die instantly. why is this happening after the pelican stops?? edit: after so many tries, gotta land on it perfectly to the point of a small kid landing on a platform from 1 meter off the ground

you have to fly low to the bridge or it has to be a close gap i got the pelican all the way from the outpost by the first spire all the way to the boss with the rapid fire pulse carbine all the way to the FOB in front of the command spire i also crushed the boss when i went up there with the pelican but it was a lot harder than it sounds and i died a lot

This means that somewhere in the code, you can fly a pelican, probably was a feature that didn't get added, along with a ton of stuff that was suppose to be in infinate like the several many animals n whatnot

Generalkid i have a suggestion for a vid On reclaimer halo 4 you can despawn the mamoth by pushing the 2 marines who salute to the in side of the mamoth and it will despawn at the 3 pelicans

Still works you just have to be really fast and get in before it starts to move up

Glitch still works. Just end the game the second you get into it. It will kill you the second it moves forward so act fast

If you notice 343 knows that there is a big number of fans who love the classic pelican, but if you think deeply I can understand why they don't add it to multiplayer maps and somewhat forge it isn't that big as you'd expect the pelican would be to big and it practically has no purpose unless it has a machine gun attachment but it'd be the first thing to get shot out of the sky, but on the other hand 343 keeps it secret to add these glitches in campaign to be able to fly what we love in a more suitable environment than multiplayer, I doubt these are cut contents I feel like they leave them around as a hidden easter egg that someone will eventually figure out, main example is ain't no damn way 343 in Halo Reach left that button in the skyscrapers mission to turn into a Pelican or a Phantom glitch, they knew what the fans wanted lol

idk man i find even the grappleshot method to be starter friendly i did it first try and only got 11 hours in the game alot of those were messing around with bots in MP so campaign hours are even less. id say you really just need to play around with grapple for a little its extremely easy to get used to.

I only wish you could fly a phantom too

I tried doing this now and it doesn’t work anymore. You cannot enter the pelican when you call it in.

so when will they actually add it as a vehicle to drive, every time a game comes out the question 'can you fly the Pelican' always comes up so am surprised they never just gave everyone it for this game, as in, full control, allow AI to jump on the gun, etc lol

For those theorizing the phantom, sadly it does not work, I had a glitched phantom that was just on the floor for whatever reason when I was just playing the game and trust me when I say I tried, been wanting to fly it since I first played halo 2 but yet to no prevail, hopefully maybe someone will find something soon tho!

It spawned me back at the FOB but with the pelican on the ground. You can flip it, and get in and out as you please

If they escape from Zeta Halo, they must boarded a ship from the Banished! The Pelicans doesn't have a FTL!

Also pelicans in 3 and Reach were still 10x better cuz when flying them the wings moved when turning. This is like some cheap knockoff

i just did this on my normal 100% save. backed out and pressed continue. then it loaded me into my LASO save that was halfway through and overwrote it ;-;

Wouldn't work with the phantom sadly. Even if the phantom is completely empty you aren't able to get in it. Not even the turrets let you on

Real thing im asking myself.. Is it really so hard to make regular Pelicans spawning in campaign and beeing able to fly these? I mean even in a game big as Halo Infinite it would make so much sense just beeing able to fly one.. I dont get it. Makes me really mad as much as I love Halo infinite. People are requesting it for decades

So I just tried this. When I ended the game and loaded another game, I kept dying when I got near the crashed pelican but eventually was about to get in. Once I got in, I died again after about 30 seconds. Kept trying to get in and just kept dying before I could reach the cockpit. I restarted my game and went back to continue campaign, when I loaded in, it had deleted my progress of 80% completion all the way down to only 14% completion. Any fixes?
