A lot of these look like halo 5 leftovers, Tartarus's Gavel and the two no damage hammers are probably the REQ variants of the grav hammer, same with the light rifle and the shot guns. THe shotgun that makes you run fast is just Oathsworn from Halo 5. Jorge's chaingun also seems to be a H5 leftover, it uses the exact same model. The Prophet's Bane was also from H5. The CLuster Rocket also bears resemblance to a H5 REQ variant. That Hardlight bayonet thing is also from H5, the base weapons(AR BR DMR SMG etc) had attachments that could go on the gun, there were different scopes as well as suppressors and 2 bayonets, energy bayonet and hardlight bayonet, the hardlight Bayonet did extra damage to vehicles and the energy bayonet was a 1 shot melee. That extra scope on the BR also seems to be one of those scope variants from H5, I think it's the DMR scope
The Spiker ABSOLUTELY NEEDS to be added I love the design,and there needs to be some kind of SMG or SMG ish weapon in the game… …I also have no idea why it wasn’t already,it’s a brute weapon.
Same thing with the bruteshot, it's such a fun weapon and it literally ricochets explosive rounds which the cindershot does, but needs a ballistic counterpart. Both the Spiker and the Bruteshot are MUST NEED weapons. As I think the double barreled shotgun is honestly pointless.

A bunch of these are req variants of weapons from halo 5, particularly the shotguns, rocket launcher, and light rifles. I believe the explosive light rifle was called the dying star or something, and it shot literal black holes. Hardlight bayonets were in halo 5 and were REALLY weird and pointless, they made the gun do more damage against vehicles. The scoped BR was called the sentinal rifle for some reason, no connection to actual forerunner sentinals, it was just an upgraded scope for the BR and DMR. 12:57 that is a biofoam injector used to stop bleeding and close wounds. Why do I know this? Because I'm a halo nerd.
I love how you're showcasing in forge world. This gives me some major Reach nostalgia. Also the cluster rocket launcher gives me some major Incineration Cannon vibes. More specifically the version in Halo 4.
the fuel rod, spiker, double barrel, and the shock machinegun look to be the most "complete" out of the leftovers. Otherwise, a lot these weapons are leftovers from Halo 5. One of the community managers DID say more equipment and weapons were being worked on, but obviously we can't really know what that is. We have a distinct lack of explosive weapons beyond the rocket and cindershot, so rounding it out with a fuel rod cannon would be really nice. A machinegun variant of the shock weapons would be so cool too. And the double barrel adds a really nice close range niche that the bulldog doesnt do. Making it a power weapon would be perfect.
I remember seeing come concept art awhile back with the Spiker that given a rifle butt stick at the end it. Thought it was a really cool design, something the Banished would definitely do
I'm basically 100% certain that all of the Halo 4/5 weapons here were simply used as test beds for ideas for the actual weapons to go into the game. For example the light rifle was probably just a test for shock damage weapons.
honestly the halo 5 warzone weapons were all really fun, I just hated how they were stuck in the loot boxes for cosmetics, and it takes so long to get anything interesting during a warzone match. My favorite weapons were the bayonet guns, and the silenced pistols.
If I remember correctly, the human sentry turret seen on a Campaign mission in H5 is in the files as well, would make a nice counterpart to the banished one if we could use it in Forge. In regards to the props, would be fun if the gas can and scanner had animations even if it’s pointless.
The light rifle with a “classic” artstyle like the Heateave would be nice. Out of all the weapons in halo 4 and 5 the only one I used and liked was the light rifle.
It could look so sleek. Imagine. When scoped in the projectiles look like individual bolts from heatwave but larger, that signature scope now a purple-yellow down sights
Ehh, minimally invasive surgery you're trying to not harm the human but to affect the target whether that be remove a cancer or correct some disease process. Surgical strikes are some military term as well
As other have said, the BRs, shotguns, rocket launders, and the bayonets are leftovers from halo 5 variants. But is interesting is we having seen a brute Spiker since halo reach, but there’s a modeled and firing version in Infinite. That seems to have the highest probability of being a future season release
I agree it doesn't feel right. A shotgun with a slower rate would definitely be preferable but it looks like they are making the zombies stronger by giving the alpha invisible (when standing still). It's fun the way they have It but there's something about the classic feeling that I miss.
I would love to see the halo 4-5 shotgun return as an extremely close range blunderbuss type weapon. It would co exist with the other shotgun as a slower, point blank one tap weapon where the other one could be the way it is.
That firebat plasma pistol kinda reminds me of the sticky detonator, perhaps it could give the currently underwhelming infinite plasma pistol some life
You have to remember that a lot of what you see isn't cut content, it's content that wasn't completely removed from the previous game engine. As it is known in each of the games you can find files from the previous Halo, just as in Halo 4 there was a lot of Halo Reach content and assets , since H4 was built on what already existed from the previous one (HR), and so it has been with all the Halo games. So if you're wondering why a lot of these things weren't added in the final game, it's because they were never meant to be there. Developers just left the files from the previous Halo inside the game engine where Halo Infinite is running.

Would be cool to have weapon variants. It'll also be cool to have more weapons in the game, always wondered why they didn't bring back the CE plasma rifle or brute shot.
No they aren't. Surasias ultimate markup tool (if it's still updated) let you use them if the PC player that was hosting the match had them selected in customs
I have not played H5. The skits will return in the next one. There were so many weapons I just couldn't find a way to fit everything into a skit. I didn't want to leave anything out. I have a skit I'm working on. I'll have that out soon.
Seeing the halo 5 shotgun makes me mad. Honestly hate the bulldog, everyone knows, shotguns oneshot in like literally every game, except halo infinite.
At this point, I assume anything in the game's code that hasn't been announced as part of an update is just cut content. This includes the Skiff and that UNSC truck with the grenade launcher.
Would love if they added in the spiker and the brute shot two weapons that were mainly used by brutes it blows my mind how those weapons aren't in the game.
Mods in the leaked February flight build, altho you could spawn some of them like spiker/golf club/armament blaster using Surasias ultimate markup tool in the retail build
