@@thiccElite True, but at least 4's promethians materialized stuff all the time. The binary rifle could have been in a different configuration inside the body or something. Meanwhile this alien rifle just drops out. I'm not excusing either of the two.
Seems to be a sort of Forerunner gravity weapon. Crazily enough, almost finished, seemingly, with mostly complete custom anims and sound design? A really cool idea for a weapon. A charged and ranged gravity tool, and theoretically Forerunner in origin? Sign me right the hell up
@@xUseTheForks then you missed my point. I said "it works if you're smart with it", just like a lot of the other weapons, it gets rid of shields so kinetic guns are tons more effective for both sides. That's what a specialized weapon is like, it isn't designed to be used like a normal one.
only reason i can see that this wa cut is it works like the plasma pistol used to, and they nerfed that to hell and back. instead of nerfing and reworking this too, they just cut it.
Are you using Assembly to view these tags? And if so how, halo infinite doesn't have .map files from what I can tell they seem to have been replaced with .module files.
Curious if we'll get this weapon later on, leaks have shown progress on a few new weapons, but no news on this one that was almost completed two years ago
They’ve been pretty explicit about wanting a refined and streamlined sandbox and this feels like it overlaps with the mangler quite a lot, similar ttk and both being brute pistols with a slow firming rate.
@@s.p.clague2616 loos like a replacement for the H$ boltshot + the blackgole halo 5 plasma pistol rec variant. So its defo not cut since its unique in being a gravity manipulating weapon
i think most of this stuff will be finished and added at a later date, if this game is to continue to be a live service we should expect new weapons like halo 5

@Texel76 Idk it just uses a weird power cell, and without knowing if it uses hard light for ammo it looks more alien then the forunners sentinel based guns, it looks like it’s meant to be held rather then apart of anything, then again Idk who made shock rifles cause they look banished but are apart of sentinel as well
