i'm playing the campaign co-op with my friend for the first time who just got it, like obviously i got legendary on single and coop and like every achievement within the first few weeks but now however many years later doing a new playthrough, and can i just comment on how much better the halo reach matchmaking system is than any game literally ever, it is so quick and easy, it's not even a thought, it's just everything about that game is so user friendly and quick and easy, i was literally playing people on a server with only 5 people on it only 30 seconds wait time, and the connection was fine, which other game can you say that for, which other game can you promote a leader and leave and join anyone anywhere instantly, then change between any number of game modes without even thinking about disconnecting or waiting! halo reach just did everything amazingly (except maybe number of items in forge at one time but thats not really there fault)
That also isn't covered in ink because since there are 2 s1s (Orion based) spartains left, both would be in the headhunters groups, possibly starting it, everyone on blue team can be/ already considered H.L and that last of the S3sBc can be H.L. but most of this doesn't apply to this game at the time, with 117 would be the only other spartan at this time having Hyper lethal status.
@@SirBigWater considering he easily has the highest kill count of all the spartans, plus he despite his short comings he proves himself to be more reliable of a soldier, he may not of been the best at any one thing but he is above average in everything. and that alone makes him better than the rest of his peers, and thats not even including his "luck"

Dr. Halsy was obviously talking to Cortana in the last segment. "Great minds do think alike". It's funny, cause Cortana is an exact neural copy of Halsy's brain. Cortana chose Master Chief as her host.

MrAvenger711 In the Halo novel "Fall of Reach", Halsey is constantly saying how John 117 has something that all the other spartan recruits lack (and is the reason he was handpicked in the first place), because he is extremely lucky, like, uncannily lucky.
Charlie Bonney I regularly watched these while counting down the days till release. Hell, rewatching these make me relive those emotions. I feel like I'm waiting to get my legendary edition all over again
sgteltorcho true. the new one can't seem to make multiplayer without lag. Or design immersive campaign missions. Gameplay itself is still pretty solid/fun though
@@Khedaar The Master Chief did go on several missions during the battle with the Covenant on Reach. But the Halo Reach game is played from the perspective of a completely different group of Spartans doing other missions in other locations at the same time as the Master Chief was doing his own missions.
Hard to pick a "favorite", they all (1-3 n reach) are masterpieces. But Reach, thru the story and music makes it resonate emotionally. The others have emotional moments, this was emotional in its entirety. God the memories.
I liked the fact that Reach wasn't like any other game. It wasn't To Be Continued or a happy ending. Everyone died and Reach fell. You couldn't save Reach. But Noble 6 did save humanity when he got Cortana to The Pillar of Autumn. And I wish it had really been the last Halo.

***** Because Jerome was fairly a decent shot with anything,and Kurt was one of the most well know snipers,he may not have used it every minute but he was good at it(That and always beating 117 in combat)

Over there Linda practically has half her body burned up, then 2 weeks later while hanging upside down on a piece of rope disguised so well MC couldnt tell where she was on a well lit covenant rendezvous station she took out banshees with her sniper rifle taking 1 shot for one banshee, through a tiny hole in the banshees front area about 5 inches (i think) and took out 3. MC was shocked.
I think this was the last great halo game in general. It had the most features to it that worked perfectly and it had a new cast of characters. Not seeing master chief was nice touch in story telling.
rdv9000 Halo 5's story is understandable yes, but it lacks depth. All characters in Osiris and Blue team are cardboard cut outs with little proper emotion or depth, and the rest of the characters might as well be non-existant. And what about the Warden Eternal? This boss is recycled over and over and over. In the campaign we fight him like 8 times! And he's not even rewarding to defeat. It's just tedious. In my opinion Halo 5 has a campaign that is cheap, anticlimactic and poorly thought narrative who do not understand what Halo is or should be, heck, it was admitted that half of 343 personnel from 4 onward are people from COD and other games, purposely chosen because of their dislike of what Halo is. Rant over, my apologies. Needed to let that out .
I think Angry Joe put it best.." with Halo Reach you are buying an experience, Single player campaign (with splitscreen) that would hold up by itself, Deep multiplayer with deep customization, Forge world, Theatre mode... etc etc etc " compare all of that to a game like halo 5 or battlefront and its just fucking clear how we've been bent over by big gaming industries now and abused as consumers.

Reach will always be my favorite halo game. The sheer tragedy of it all, it’s a desperate determined fight to give humanity a chance. This and ODST illustrated the sheer scale and stakes of the war unlike any other of the originals
For some people who are confused for some reason. She is talking to Cortana, Cortana chose Master Chief as her spartan but she chose Noble 6 to get her to him. Also Master Chief did participate in the Fall Of Reach and was on Spartan Blue Team. Master Chief also is NOT really in the vehicle bay of the Pillar Of Autumn. Yes in the game it shows him there but its just an easter egg. He was picked up by the Pillar of Autumn on a space station orbiting REACH from what i can recall.
This game gave me best friends, great memories, and good times. My favorite game hands down and makes me wish I could go back in 2010 when the online community was huge.

Jorge is a Spartan-II super soldier, and Halsey was the head scientist whom created the Spartan II's and their power armour, and is known commonly among Spartan II's as their mother, for they never grew up around their own parents, so she was the one they attached to. Additionally, all the rest of Noble team are Spartan 3's, which were Not created by Halsey, but by ONI, hence she does not feel the same warm feelings towards them, and vice versa.
I like how this video was not only a trailer, but also it COULD have been a thing happening before you get to the train. Like, she turns off the "camera" and starts speaking with Noble, while they are on their way to her.
Technically all Spartans are hyper lethal. Personally I think it's a really stupid line. Especially because they're referring to Master Chief and Noble 6 as only being hyper-lethal.
@@Masterhalo998it's actually a badass line. And it's stupid 343 downplayed 6 and chief so all the other Spartans can be seen as equal to them. 6 and chief are the two greatest Spartans and there's no debate
@@br8y693 I'm aware. 3s have the same augmentations but aren't as genetically gifted like the 2 candidates were and got them at a later age making them lesser physically than 2s. Elite v spartan assassinations shows this well with elites easily overpowering Spartans. Plus most don't have mjolnir armor making them even weaker than 2s that always have it. Noble team was an exception. Edit Forgot to mention but eliten on spartan assassinations is with said Spartans having mjolnir making them getting easily overpowered even more clear that 3s are much weaker than 2s.
I only just noticed this but all these years I assumed in the trailer Jorge is bracing up against the warthog to stabilize his turret, But he's placing himself as living cover for the marine, incredibly based.

This is making me think back to the hype back then watching the reveal trailers and waiting to get the game as soon as it came out, I was lucky and was able to get it on disc so I got the commando armor for my spartan when I got it
Gotta say, the end of this trailer is tailored to make you feel SO badass. "Noble Six... So much black ink" Making entire battalions of militia disappear. Even ranking him hyperlethal, putting him right up there with MC. And he's you. Bungie knows how we like our games.

When Cortana told Locke's team (Buck excluded) that they're nothing compared to her Spartans, she probably included Noble team, though I don't believe our pal Six was ever gentle with the package LOL That running, gunning and action hero movements vs Chief being gentle even when yanking her our of terminals LOL I wonder if Cortana ever got motion sickness while being handled by Six hahahaha

I can't count how much times I had to comment the link of this video so then they the chief fanboys who think chief could take on the whole of noble team knows that 6 is equally matched with chief
Experienced Grenade it doesn't mean they are equally matched, hyper lethal only means you are a biological killing machine, chief and 6 made armies disappear but chief is technically stronger for the soul fact he is a spartan 2 and 6 was a spartan 3
Halo 1: Had a sense of mystery and awe. Halo 2: Had some great twists, and developed the story a lot better. Halo 3: Had an epic feel, and had a great conclusion to the original trilogy. Halo 4: Had a much more personal story, and developed the characters a lot more. What I'm trying to say is that each Halo game has something different about it and that they're all good in there own right.

Maarten Allegaert It was Bungie’s baby to begin with. Halo Reach is canon because Halo: New Blood and the Halo 4 books confirms it. So canonically speaking, Noble Six is up there too.
Science Things There is no discussion if Halo Reach is canon or not anymore because 343 actually cares about the halo story and fixed the damage Bungie had done to the story with this game. Both Halo Reach and The Fall of Reach are canon.
Exactly man I was playing the Xbox 360 a week ago and I had a copy of this game . one of thr greatest halo game ever . thr ghrapics wss breath taking I never imagined playing it 5 years from now but hot dam this was incredible and here I am in 2020 playing halo once again I never thought such a year such a event would led up to me returning to halo when originally I now plays cod and battlefield on ps4 so I take none of these moments for grant its truly a blessing feeling to know I been wit the series for such a long time from halo 3, halo 3 otsg ,and halo reach looking back at it this series was incredible it truly was the last greatest games before fortnite took over and ruin a great era . Same for cod black ops series Well technically the modern warfare series
I rly do miss the old days. I miss playing with friends and family halo reach, it was the best time I've ever had and I won't forget about it. Now that halo infinite comes out and I hopefully can buy a PC soon I hope that I'll have as much fun as I used to have with halo. Thank you bungie for this game _thank you_ *Remember Reach*
