Maybe the "we need to fight" line can be added in depending on difficulty, like the old Johnson cinematic variations. It helps that Chief doesn't need lip-syncing

They managed to make the banished both interesting and intimidating, in the same way the covenant first was in halo CE. I hope this game draws more people to play halo wars 2! such a cool feudal state to the galaxy, perfect continuation of the series.

5:56 Maybe I'm crazy but I'm really getting the feeling that Escharum betrayed Atriox out of a hunger for power and is doing the whole "honor his will" thing to keep the peace, avoid a mutiny, and effectively stay in power to destroy Earth with the ring out of hatred for humanity. If that is the case we may meet Atriox a second time only this time he'll see Chief differently maybe even respect him and maybe, just maybe, join forces with him to help Chief take down Escharum so Atriox can regain his power, get revenge, essentially then creating a peace treaty with humanity? As much as I really want Atriox to be the Arbiter equivalent of the Banished forces I hope I'm wrong about this. I just don't see Chief partnering with someone who has killed so many Marines and Spartans then again.. that's exactly what Chief did with the Arbiter, the Arbiter was renowned and praised by the Covenant for his kill count before his failure that was protecting the ring in Halo CE. So I'm honestly going back and forth with this theory. I'm pretty sure Escharum is talked about being a mentor and maybe even a father figure for Atriox in the books so this theory is hopefully doa. Also, depending on how powerful Cortana becomes if she is still around maybe that is why this first campaign installment is about humanity and the Banished joining forces. The only other threat big enough to force this joining of forces is the Flood.

Just imagine if when the game officially launches if this isn't the official launch we get to dual wield

The lighting on the pilot's eyes looks really strange. There's almost no light and no shadow, and it makes them look really weird. It should have some effect on the way he looks, but it doesn't. It makes him resemble something of the uncanny valley still, because even though he looks miles better than he did in the 2020 demo, his eyes look very robotic and inhuman, and that's because there is very little light and not enough shadow (i.e., no light reflecting off his scleras, or outer layer of his eyes). The Spartan Academy suffers from this same issue of the lighting not working properly with characters like Agryna. When her helmet is off, she looks strange, like the lighting for her model is broken.

The final cutting gave me Halo 4 vibes

Looks like a neat campaign. I honestly don't understand why they didn't just make it so chief jumps into space and grapples the pelican though, why did they make him hold onto a ship that was about to explode lol.

I need a weapon.
