I don't think I'd play this again in any serious capacity, but the ingenuity and creativity to get RTS functionality in an FPS is so, so impressive. Even the way the leader powers are organized - yellow crates arranged vertically to designate archer missles, blue big crate to designate EMP - is so freaking smart. Kudos to the designer for this!
Great seeing you guys play it! It was real funny seeing you guys play around and figure things out progressively! Yea the map in its most basic form was a pain in the arse just to get it to work, I had to scrap many ideas scrapped (like proper unit garrisoning) because of forge limitations, so I am surprised it's even playable! It definetely gets easier once you understand the commands, so if you ever feel like a challenge (since ed proved himself unworthy) I can teach you some tips!

Okay, this proves my point that if literally someone goes out of their way to make a Halo Wars in Infinite, there's just a possibility and now hear me out, that we just want a Halo game thats not just about FPS.
@@EdGreenallGames I mean, you and I both know there WAS the thought about the third one but they just tossed it aside. Like why can't Microsoft just make other genre of Halo, Halo is so rich and open that making a RTS literally fits the style for this one. plus other kinds of genre too
Halo wars 1 UNSC, The engineering (supply pad) would give resources and used a system of tech level by using power generators (reactors) to unlock buildings, the more tech level you had the more buildings and upgrades you unlocked. you could not build the armoury because you needed 2 techlevel

Anyone remember the BO2 side missions that was straight up an rts? But could control the units and drones as well?? It’s possible and halo could easily do it
Do not halo wars is the last thing we need wat we need is a 1st person shooter halo game that SMACKS halo wars is for Birds Eye view lovers and not the main halo fanbase who likes the 1st person shooter games. But halo wars in 1st person is my biggest dream cuz I love the artwork for that game a lot so could meet u in the middle on that lol
To bad people aren’t gonna play any of these good game modes and maps in the browser instead there just gonna play like team snipers and every lame game mode possible in the browser and ignore all these jems. These kinda jems u need a friend group to play these with and that’s non existent as a halo fan unless I wanna befriend a bunch of randoms
