I am new to customising xbox 360 controllers and I would like to know: Do you need to prime the controllers? If so, do you do it before spraying or use a mixture of the paint and primer? Do you need to wait for the paint to dry before adding a clear coat?
Honestly, it depends on the paint system you're using. I'm using Auto Air and an automotive clear coat. The sealers in the Auto Air line have good adhesion to plastic after it's sanded, but I also use an adhesion promoter. Yes, the paint must be dry and cured before applying clear coat.
Again, it depends on the paint system. A primer is usually recommended. Yes, do the same to anything you plan on painting. What type of paints do you plan on using?
