Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam’s precious jewels of the north and a UNESCO world heritage site. Ha Long Bay is known for it’s stunningly beautiful backdrop sprinkled with thousands of sky-high limestone islets. This is the first of several videos documenting my journey throughout Vietnam.

Vietnam could be a much better place if the Vietnamese people could keep the streets and food safe and clean. Everywhere you go you see garbage and the food is not safe and unsanitary. Việt Nam còn tốt đẹp hơn nếu từ trẻ đến già biết gìn giữ cho đường phố và thực phẩm an toàn và sạch sẽ. Thật là tệ đi đâu cũng thấy rác xả bừa bãi bẩn thỉu dơ dáy.

What a nice view opening up the curtains on the second day, Wow even better the hike up with the doggy guide, I have been to Halong Bay a few times but not on that hike, reminiscence of Palawan Philippines, Ho Ahn, I love that quaint little town, picturesque with boutique shop, enjoy there, have a safe journey and be safe.

But next time I strongly recommend you visit Bai Tu Long Bay instead of visiting the center of Halong Bay - where thousand boats sailing everyday. Bai Tu Long Bay is so much more quiet and beautiful than the center of Halong Bay, while it’s still belonged to the UNESCO Heritage site. it's a beautiful video. Just want to add some info: - You can get the shuttle transfer to Halong Bay with around $10 (good car, max 10ppl) - Only 2.5 hours from Hanoi to Halong Bay with highway - Vietnamese banh my is not made from rice :)) not everything in Vietnam is made from rice. - The hiking you had to take via the lady's house since the Authority already banned the access to the top of the mountain, since it's quite dangerous. It's not recommended.

Hi Isa. If she doesn't get back to you, I noticed at 5:17 it says "Ha Binh", which seems to match the full day itinerary I found online (only through third parties, it seems.)

Ha Long Bay was probably my least favorite place to visit. It was probably the large amount of tourists that were there. The scenery was nice, but could have been even better because air pollution was pretty bad. Me and buddy did the overnight cruise and it was ok. There were too many cruise ships out there.

Hahaha... You are in Vietnam, but you drink Taiwanese tea. Don't you know Vietnam is food heaven? Try Vietnamese's Egg or Coconut coffee, Black or Black and Condense Milk Ice coffee, or Nuoc Mia i.e. pure sugar cane drink. For foods, you don't need to do any research before you order a dish because Vietnamese foods are delicious and healthy. If you still have doubts, look up videos from the famous chefs like Anthony B, Gordon Ramsey, ... about their trips to Vietnam.

I really wanna do that hike to Bai Tho mountain. Last time I was in Halong there had been a fire and it was forbidden to enter the mountain. Oh well, next time! Anyways thanks for showing the hike! 😊
