I’d argue the opposite. The sprite looks better although a little smoother and the attack feels more “Papyrus”, but the music seems a little bit less of a banger
While there's strengths to both designs, I personally *slightly* prefer the more depraved and just outright crazed look the original 2022 version of the sprite had- along with this, the original's incredibly earthbound-y attacks made the game and take on the AU *feel* unique- as it gave a pretty decent out to *show* papyrus' increased power without just throwing stupid hard patterns at the player. Although with this being said, the remaster isn't without merit, as the new version's attacks (so far) appear to be way more in line with what Papyrus would *actually* throw at the player- and the bobbing and bouncing of the sprite makes him feel a bit more alive [something I think is a double-edged sword in this case]. [TL;DR to skip my yapping]: While I personally prefer the original in most ways- it is crystal clear you gave this as much effort as humanly possible, and with this take my opinion with a grain of salt since its your fangame lol .
My thoughts on the remaster: It's a huge improvement over the original in every way, however I feel like Papyrus' dialogue, while an improvement, feels somewhat edgy at times, but that's just me. Phase 3 is a gigantic improvement from the original, with it feeling much more unsettling this time. However, I personally think that the music in the first half is a little emersion breaking, but again, that's just my opinion. Overall, the remaster is an 8/10.
Yeah same is no one gonna talk about that? Like wtf is that it gives old Halo’s dustbelief vibes for the end of that, which I ended up giving that part the name “Papyrus’s Divine terror” Halo’s Dustbelief phase 3 for me is the kind of thing Dusttrust phase 4 should try to emulate especially given how liminality has been with Dusttrust since the old Reboot era even before pre leak, I can just only hope something is made of it someday, as for the actual thumbnail of this video I have no idea what it is but it looks terrifying and I haven’t seen any other comments about it besides yours so yeah wtf is that thing
I feel like the necromancy attacks from that one other beta with the arms could fit well in some of phase 1 (also why u make it more impossible for normal players)
