Hals-über-Kopf is a Vekoma Suspended Thrill Coaster that opened at Erlebnispark Tripsdrill in June 2020. This is the first of this new style of Vekoma suspended coasters. The ride interacts with
Volldampf a Vekoma Family Boomerang that also opened alongside Hals-über-Kopf. The ride stands at 98ft and features 3 inversions with trains reaching a top speed of 49mph! The theming for both of these roller coasters will be completed in 2021.

Man, there is just something about these trains that just looks so aesthetically appealing to watch. Maybe it’s from how far they hang beneath the track; that added seat depth seems to articulate and showcase each twist and turn so well! It looks super graceful. I sure hope we see some of these start to show up in the US soon!

Wow, what a great coaster: it's surprisingly intense with nice G-forces, the seats combined with lap bars provide great freedom while riding and the three inversions are basically more or less all zero-G-rolls lifting you out of the seats. Additionally, there is some great airtime on some spots of the layout which is not often found on inverts. Optically, this coaster is beautiful, especially the overbanked turn over the entrance looks absolutely amazing and the interaction with Volldampf is also a really cool feature. Those two coasters as a whole is an outstanding addition to the portfolio of Tripsdrills attractions and I'm really happy that my home park did such a fantastic job!

I enjoyed it however I found it pretty forceless unfortunately! Everyone has different opinions and it’s important to respect them!

Compared to a b&m invert it is forceless. I enjoyed it a lot, and especially the second half has pretty nice forces for a thrill ride that has a fairly low age and height restiriction

How do you combine two coaster supports together unless both coasters were built at the same time?? Really no point for having coasters this coaster to each other though. Those fences are way to low surrounding the coasters wow!

These fences meet the german regulations. So they're quite the right height. American coaster enthusiasts often call them "don't kill yourself fences". Which is right but works for us very well.
