HWP-120 is the Homestead, Farmer, Rancher, Firewood Startup - 14inch to 16inch capacity
HWP-140 is more commercial with a larger saw motor, faster cylinder, log length cut guide, HD grabber arm and 16inch to 18inch capacity
HWP-150 is built for the professional firewood producer, even larger splitter cylinder than the 140b, redesigned grabber arm, larger splitter chamber, HYDRAULICALLY ADJUSTABLE WEDGE and up to 22inch log capacity

I've noticed on my 140b that even after upgrading to the larger cylinder option, it tends to struggle sometimes on tougher wood on larger diameter logs with the 6 way. Not sure if its the hydraulic pressure of my machine or the cylinder. Running a 2015 Bobcat T590. Does fine as long as its nice straight grain wood, but you get much of a sizable knot or Y on it, you are out driving it off the wedge with an 8lb sledge. 4 or 5 times of doing that and you really start analyzing which logs to set aside or cut it off and dump it and move on. Its not what would call a power house splitter but as far as overall, I can't imagine doing what I do now with a conventional splitter and saw. I'm just at awe when running nice wood and seeing 6 pieces crank out on each pass. Its a great machine.

thanks for comment! The machine pressure is ultimately the source of power for the splitting pressure. PSI directly equals splitter tonnage! The upgraded cylinder is the new "standard" cylinder in the 150 and it does an amazing job. Nasty wood is always evil on any splitter. Direction/orientation of the "Y" or knot is also key to getting it split. Go with the grain vs against it. If you get a jam up. Drop in a previously split piece into the splitter chamber, use that smaller piece to work out the stuck round. You can focus all the tonnage on a smaller area and push it thru. Great video, but you did not show us the controls from your machine close up as you were moving the parts on the processor. My machine is an ASV and has only 2 connectors on the hydraulic box outside . It uses a 16 hydraulic flow. Thank you.
