Meshk, literally 'practice,' or 'exercise,' is work most often used by Turkish Sufis for learning and practicing devotional music, ilâhîs.
This video was taken by psychotherapist, Michael Kosacoff (1939-2020), a Qadiri-Rufai Sufi, and Halveti-Jerrahi muhibb of Shaykh Muzaffer Effendi. Prior to his passing, he made this video available to Pir Netanel Miles-Yépez of the Inayati-Maimuni Order for distribution on RU-vid.
