hi Kay, I genuinely love it when you talk about yourself at the end like you would talk about Lee tasting the food. Actually brightens my day up ❤ never change
Hey Kay! I wasn’t aware that you had already tried the chicken Bolognese, however, I have another recipe that I’m sure will hit your taste buds just the same or even better. The dish is a lazy garlic and minced meat stir-fry! It's a super quick and delicious meal that's perfect for busy days. The lazy garlic adds a unique twist, and it's so easy to make. Trust me; you'll love it! Ingredients: • 1 pound of minced meat (beef, chicken, or turkey) • 1/4 cup lazy garlic (pre-minced garlic in oil) • 1 onion, chopped • 1 bell pepper, sliced • 1 courgette, sliced • 1 cup sliced mushrooms • 2 tablespoons soy sauce • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce • 1 teaspoon brown sugar • Salt and pepper to taste • Cooking oil Instructions: 1. In a large skillet or wok, heat some cooking oil over medium-high heat. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced meat to the skillet. Cook the meat, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it’s browned and cooked through. 3. Stir in the lazy garlic and cook for another minute, allowing the garlic to infuse its flavor into the meat. 4. Add the bell pepper, courgette, and mushrooms to the skillet. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the vegetables start to soften. 5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Pour this sauce over the meat and vegetables in the skillet. 6. Continue to stir-fry for a few more minutes, allowing the sauce to coat everything evenly. 7. Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. 8. Serve your Lazy Garlic and Minced Meat Stir-Fry hot over rice or noodles. You can garnish it with fresh herbs or sesame seeds if you like.
That ommel looked delicious. I do like a good egg omelette and this was right up my street. There was one time when I had a dream about making an omelette. It was full of Beatles. I kept having to tell John Lennon to stop trying to get in it or he will get cooked. Ringo was there looking on and then Paul McCartney and George Michael turned up and kept messing my ingredients up. The omelette ended up under cooked and then we all boiled the kettle and took someone's dog for a walk. We then admired the Mona Lisa before seeing John pick up his cats feces. Fumbs up.
Fantastic vid kay. Could you please make a Onigiri basically its a Japanese rice triangle. You could use spinach instead of seed weed. You can put any filling you like inside
Hiya kay... I find your lovely northern accent very comforting and your cooking very inspiring... I would love to see you do your favourite food to eat/cook. 🎉❤
Hello Kay! I always enjoy watching your videos and it's been awesome to see how you've improved with your cooking skills. I'm a vegetarian so I can't eat a lot of what you make, but I'm sure it tastes amazing! Lots of love 🩷💛
Hey Kay! Very nice recipe, gonna try it myself soon. Quick question, have you ever tried to make a lemon marignu pie? If not, give it a shot, would love to see your take on it!
When you make an omelet you put the stuff on one side of the omelette then you flip the other side over where you have your stuff and that's a true omelette
Hi Kay, that looks really nice. I like cheese on my omelette too. Can you make savoury muffins with bacon, corn and cheese? Those are my favourite but I've never been able to make them.
If you could remember to season it,salt & pepper at least, while it's cooking,it would taste a lot better. But it looks pretty good, considering ,and you're doing fine practicing the cooking. Keep at it, Kay.
Hi Kay I'm in my kitchen following the recipe but I'm missing the hamband cheese what do u recommend as a substitute for u think potato is good or dog biscuits I've got gravy bones please help me I'm really stuck
Another great video Kay. Cheers for sharing. Another lovely person from the north is John Kirkwood. It's through his channel I learned the art of making bread and pizza. I would love to see you try one of his recipes. Take care.
Where’s the omelette Kay? All I see is two ham, egg, and cheese loafs. I say “see” because the video was out of focus to the point where it gave me a headache. Better luck next time on the omelette eh Kay?
Next time take your eggs & add a tad bit of milk & a pinch of cream of tartar then whip the crap out of it till it's all thinned out and bubbly on top, it will make it super fluffy.
omelets are smaller than you'd think lol. next time you gotta put like, 1/4 of both the ham and cheese that you put in the omelet to actually properly fold it without it breaking
Kay absolutely love your vids and love Lees too you are a Yorkshire Lass like me, I am from Leeds I want to try this recipe can you please let me know what ham you used as it looks really lean and not fatty at all thanks love Maggie xxx
