My IRN absolutely LOVES his sink tub lolol he loves the toys, the water, the faucet - he turns it on and off just for funsies. He didn't even need time to look at it, he saw me unpack it and flew immediately to it before I was even finished. Just goes to show that even if birds are the exact same species, they have their own personalities 😂❤

Maybe Hamlet will begin to like his little sink and want to bathe in it. Give him sometime. Look at how much time it took for him to get used of his cute little backpack 🎒 Hamlet is so darn adorable. Mwaaaaahhh.😊😊

Lol😂 I bought the same bath for my birds an Alexandrine King ringneck and my Lorrikeet to play with and have fun, but no, it's too scarry😂. Silly parrots. I think the noise of the motor scares them. I think Ham is the same.💙🐦. Much love 😊👍

We bought our irn the same one, didnt go near it & it ended up in the bin, he still likes his water dish baths & a water mist spray

I prefer to do my bathing in a 120 liter SAMLA bin from IKEA and ain't nobody gonna ever convince me that a bathtub would be "better" or "more comfortable". Bah, humbug!

he might like it after time, maybe with food bribes as well, but they are rather particular. my first cockatiel liked to bathe in a small table top water fountain that trickled water down a wall section- and he'd push up against it. my second would ONLY bathe in a glass dish or bowl- nothing else. She preferred drinking from glass dishes too over plastic or metal, high quality gal there :P . and my galah (current) is funny about baths. She prefers the 'hose' only on hot days (when she lived outside) and as an indoor bird on occasion she is fine with us using a squirt bottle on mist. we try to give her showers in the shower with warmish water and most the time she isnt the most impressed by it. I've also tried different bowls and trays with different temp water and making little fountains but she's not big on bathing unless she is really in the mood lol.

My mom’s Hahns macaw used to love being blow dried so she’d bathe in her water bowl ha ha but a real bath is always hit or miss in my experience.

My Lovebirds have the same one and they absolutely love it! They end up looking like drowned rats after their Splish splash. LOL❤

I have this item (2nd one of this style but third overall) for my lorikeet on the floor in the bathroom. Bought the first version a couple of years ago. He uses it every couple of days. Try taking out the wire rack and just add the items that Ham can pick up easily; to throw in or out of the water

That sink is quite big. By the looks of it he was a little scared of it, but Ham liking the tiny bowl is hilarious the way he walks around it 😂 what an absolutely adorable little blue monster 😂

He only need time maybe because of the sound but uzs beautiful maybe sometimes he like it. And you coudstand this thun neat by the othe bowl so that he see for what it coud be ... U understand? Love to you and you sweet pet❤ he is awesome adorable

Same experience here with a bath like yours. My bird drank a little from the tap, but no way he was getting in😅 He favores his good old wiskey tumbler for bathing, trying to stick his butt in, wich is impossable, but still 😋

Maybe Hamlet could be coaxed into the new "sink" if you put his regal silver bowl in the sink!

Can I make a suggestion? My crew of 6 Budgies used to take a "waterdish bath" until... ...I bought them a bird bathtub long enough to fit a Budgie, and and just deep enough time allow them to do a little submerging if desire. The special incentive key to success was that.... ...I held the filled tub in my hands so the birds could line up in a que and step in to take a turn in the tub. It worked perfectly, and I offered the "mama spa" 2x a day. The tub sat, cleaned and filled otherwise, for any bird the climb in and play or bathe at will. The only thing I advise is to put a towel under where you stand, and wear clothes you can take off and let dry. Easy peasy. ❤🛁🦜💦

I completely get you! I got my two birbs bigger containers for bathing, but they hated them. They honestly prefer their water dishes, although I honestly don't understand why! 🤣🤣🤣

Maybe gradually introduce progressively larger and larger bath dishes, meanwhile leaving out the sink toy so Ham will gradually get used to it?

Poor moulting baby 😂 I really want to get one of these baths for my alex, but she is scared of absolutely everything 😂

My Andy Birdo doesn’t like the toy sink I bought him either. 2 years later, still only wants to take a bath in his water bowl. LOL IRNs are nuts! 😂❤️ Mine likes it when I spray him with a water bottle when he takes his bath.

We just bought or Linnies an Anione Flower 1,5L drinking fountain usually for cats or small dogs, it's big enough that they can easily stand in the bottom of the bowl and also lie down and roll around a bit in it, but it's very quiet and the water just flows out of the flower head instead of a "hard" spray, we tried with a toy sink aswell but they didn't like it but the new one they love :)

All the birds I’ve ever had have always enjoyed bathing in their water dish rather than the bath tub you provide for them!

I've tried a few dishes for my Quaker Chubs to use as a bath and he will only use 1 particular soup bowl. 😊
