Netanyahu has never intended there to be peace. He and the Israeli governments before him have only used “peace process” as a cover for continued occupation and more settlements. In this current time he has added new nonnegotiable demands every time that Hamas agrees to a deal. He wants hostages returned and to then be able to continue the genocide unabated. There has never been a Zionist government that wanted peace. Peace would mean permanent borders, no more land grabs. Israel is the only country that doesn’t recognize any borders. You can’t believe that Israel only kills Hamas fighters. They use AI to monitor fighters and then wait until they return to their families to target them, knowing they’ll kill the entire family and anyone else in the house. That’s sadistic. Additionally, they’ve bombed schools, hospitals, universities, and “safe zones” without EVER PRODUCING ANY LEGITIMATE EVIDENCE OF HAMAS BEING THERE. Just look at the numbers. Over 40,000 murdered, 2/3 of whom are women and children. Also the disabled and elderly are a portion of the number. Women, children, elder, and disabled are NOT HAMAS. In the attack on the school on Saturday Israel murdered over 100 Palestinians who were sheltering there. They literally blew the ppl to bits with body parts strewn everywhere. When there was an international outcry they produced a list of Hamas fighters killed. The list contained many Hamas fighters that they’d killed months earlier. In other words, Israel acts with total impunity, committing genocide in Gaza. When they’re called on it they resort to their automatic response - lies, more lies, and still more lies! I don’t agree with killing civilians regardless of who they are. Because Netanyahu has made it clear that he will never agree to end the genocide nor will he agree to leave Gaza, he’s left Hamas and others with no other options but to attack Israeli civilians in Israel. Because the US holds veto power in the UNSC the UN and the world community are being held hostage with no means of stopping Israel. What course has been left to Hamas and other fighters? Israel and the US combined have more military power than any other country. Hamas can’t win militarily and Israel will never negotiate in good faith.
