Those of us, from whatever background, culture, ethnic group, who love western values, like freedom of speech, secularism, individualism, democracy, need to push back against Islamism because it threatens our freedom, but we need to be smart about how we do it, it is imperative that Muslims are not victimized on an individual level because that takes the focus off Islamist ideology and it's deeply problematic nature in terms of it's compatibility, with western values.
