Entity Paradigm was a breakthrough band in Pakistan in early 2000, and went on strong throughout their tenure. Their songs were essentially a commentary on cultural pitfalls, failed ideologies and ethical responsibility. This song too is one reflecting the same themes: a reflection on both loss, hope and backdrops of abuse, neglect (even drugs) but with nuances of hope that someone is there, both as a spiritual presence if not physical, and on both ends: either one given in to abuse and departed and still there, always in spirit, or there as a shoulder of support for the one who has almost given in. It is complex, deep, with multiple levels of implications. That was though, EP's style always which is why their cult following endures till today

He was guitar player in Jilawatan - Call . He started that band. He is part of EP. Basically all these are friends. And Xulfi is the producer of Nescafe Basement. And the new season of Coke Studio will be his production. So looking forward for it.
