Hamferð - Men Guðs hond er sterk (FULL ALBUM) 

The fact that we played everything live makes this album even more magnificent.

The first song provokes some tears which i was not expecting, very powerful, very beautiful intense feeling.

The more I listen to this, the more I love it (and I've listened to it a lot). I'm not even a doom metal fan, this album is special.

This is such an emotional listen. It can flow with such beauty, and soar with absolute horror at times, just like the ocean. Even without understanding the lyrics, you can feel everything. Art like this goes beyond, and touches you in the purest form. What a beautiful record.

My children live with their mother in a neighborhood in Reykjavík named "Árbær" (means rivertown). "Ríkin" means "the kingdoms" or "the states" in Icelandic. Glæman in Icelandic is "Glíman". Gods hand is strong in Icelandic is "Guðs hönd er sterk"... we speak the same langue nearly and would understand each other if we got used to the different pronunciation.

Even more amazing than before. Just pure magic since 2011 when I got to see and hear u guys in Klaksvík. Love you and this so much ❤ Sorry for not being there for the release concerts.

The story of the album, Men guðs hond er sterk .08 “It was Saturday, February 13, 1915, that a group of pilot whales (grind) had entered the fjord in Sandvík. The weather was so bad that the men of Hvalba walked; it was not the weather to come by boat from Hvalba to Sandvík There were four boats, which the Sandvíkingar had manned, and these lay above the grind when the men of Hvalba came. Well, well, you say that little you can do to stop death. And this saying, you can probably remember here. The six-man boat that arrived was then only perhaps three to four boat lengths in front of us. The waves fell over the boat. It disappeared. But when it came out of the wave again, it floated on the right. They also did not get a breath until the next wave laid over the boat. Even now, when it was over, he floated on the right keel. But then came the third wave. When the boat came out of the wave again, the boat was only part visible. The fourth wave then struck it again. Then there was no man to be seen. The smaller boat that passed was a large four-man crew. It was thrashing around in the loose air. However, one man managed to hold on, and when the waves calmed down again, he escaped on the keel While all these troubles were going on, there was also a third boat outside all the other boats. And this boat sailed through all the obstacles full under inn sea and comes - on straight - and came out of danger. This is an amazing album. Can't wait to hear you live in Pumpehuset soon. Frustratingly, the lyrics are juuuust out of reach for me as a Dane (I understand something but not enough). Would love to get the full impact of the words. Are the lyrics available anywhere in Danish or English?

Heard them live last night at the concert and it was an amazing one. I'd say Glæman has become my fave on this album, its just so relaxing to hear.
