Hamilton Beach Personal Blender Review | Smoothie time! 

I just picked this up today- I was craving margaritas. I love it. No complaints from me.

Finally a review that doesn't seem suspiciously sponsored or showing a blender that doesn't work well. I think this is the one I'm going to buy. Thank you for your review!

I have that small blender and I use it pretty much every morning for protein shakes for probably two years now. No problem so far. Easy to clean. I got to say Hamilton Beach stuff is usually very good (I have a HB hand mixer as well) and I think the compagny is competent at making good products. By the way, to clean it its easy just blend some soapy water with it.

A little ginger usually adds a nice touch to smoothies. Same with a little lemon zest or orange zest.

The Hamilton Beach personal blender isn't bad but the main thing I didn't like about it was when you're taking the container with you you're also taking the blade assembly because it stays at the bottom of the cup so it's not like some other personal blenders where you flip the cup unscrew the blade assembly and put another lid on, with this personal blender you can't do that so if you don't mind drinking from the cup with the blades at the bottom then you'll be okay but the other thing too is that this blender is not super powerful it's only around 200 W it's somewhere between 200-250 but it's not super powerful.

Cool! My refurbished Blendtec crapped out on me after 3 1/2 years and these are hard times financially for me to spend hundreds on a professional blender. I saw this hamilton beach for cheap at target. Thanks for the demo. I'm gonna end up purchasing it. I'm currently pregnant and smoothies have been a daily meal for me to get in optimal nutrition 😀

Hamilton Beach is a surprisingly powerful brand for an affordable price. I got one of their large blenders for $25, and I've been making protein smoothies with it for the last few weeks. It takes less than 10 seconds on average for me to blend the ingredients, and I've been able to keep my diet consistent because of it. I just recommended the portable blender to a friend.

I bought this blender for my snowboarding trip. I needed something I could travel with and compact enough. Your review gives me hope for it, gunna test it out soon. Is yours still holding up well? Thanks

Thanks for the review! I needed one that used ice and spinach to see how well they blend down. Looks good! Can I just kindly say that if you’re interested in less calories, less sugar, you can use a pack or two of stevia or some other low cal sweetener in place of the honey :)

When you put that ice in the blender you sold me because I was about to buy this on Amazon and I didn’t think it would blend I see that it does.

Milk, banana, spinach ,blueberries , water protein powder, chicken seeds, dried prune. Tastes perfect. Blueberries frozen make it cold.

I think for these lil smoothie blenders one must omit using ice..the ice in my opinion is what wears down the blades and the interior of the cup.

you have to make sure you double click the lock part, i saw you thought you locked it but until you do another twist you will hear the locking part. i love mine and even though i use it everyday, i hate that now the motor died on me. but other wise it's a great blender to go.

See, Im just getting this to blend powdered things only. When ppl start adding ICE and DENSE chunks thats getting out of hand lmao. It needs POWER to blend stuff like that. But for just POWDERS or PUREES? I think its dope for on the road survival tool. Nice review! Still watching as I type. I think im going to buy one like this AND a rechargeable one. to plug into my solar generator.

Can this be used for making making hollendaise sauce, which calls for slowly adding adding melted butter to blending egg yokes, for eggs benedict, etc? If not, why not?

I've used two of these for over 15 years. You can't beat them for the money. They have no problem with ice whatsoever. The only thing wrong with your review was you didn't lock the carafe to the base properly. You rotate it till it snaps into place.

I have gone through 3 of these blenders and they all end up leaking after a few months. I really would like to repair the problem, because the motor works perfectly...Its a shame to have to throw it out. Yes, its inexpensive but after paying for 3 blenders, it was best to get a better quality blender and pay more.

Is it safe to drink it with the blades still in the cup?

This blender is great until it's time to clean it. It's difficult to get the more dense and sticky ingredients off the bottom of the blades, even with cup brush.

Where did you get your necklace?

You didn't lock the top to the bottom, it clicks.

Bought mine for 10$ Canadian over a year now using it at least twice a week my only problem is I wish the push button was staying down

The part where you added 1/5 of your ingredients and it was already full decided it. It's not for smoothies...ice is too hard. Maybe food for a baby!
