Okay, I just had to add this: how could I forget to mention the intro scene..! I love how you set stage with those coloured frames, the train sounds in the distance, Joker's appartment with boxes as furniture, the flickering TV light... these wonderful details make really evident how much thought went into this!

I loved absolutely everything about this animatic. The colour was a real treat, I really wasnt expecting to see any. The character design for the joker is so amazing! At first I was like he's a really handsome guy, and then you gave him the crazy eyes and I was like Oh shit! Here we go! Such a smart animatic! Well done!

it is kinda real tho. it's hinted at in the games and it's so clear that Joker isnt straight and he's obbsessed with Batman. who cares if it isnt canon it's head canon and that's enough. there are comic books were it's canon and sure they dont count but...
@Lucie A one sided crush/obsession (which is in fact canon) doesn't make the entire ship canon. The Joker clearly loves Batman ome way or another. But Bruce doesn't return these feelings at all. The Joker is an absolutely sick amd twisted individual ffs. I meam for fuck's sake the Joker has slowly ripped out an old woman's teeth for fun, ge regularly gasses people, he has driven cops to become killers, has murdered people that were trying to help him, he abused and tortured Harley for years.... Fuck he paralysed Batgirl, took pictures of her being nude and helplessly bleeding on the floor and then proceeded to use them to torture one öf Bruce's closest allies. The guy beat Bruce's adopted son to death ffs. Batman has nothing but burning hatred for the guy to a point where he regulaly imagines torturing him violently before ending his life. The crush couldn't be more onesided... the ship is not canon.
@@goji253 While all that is true, (in their own universes), in some comics Batman strangely feels guilt or sadness in universes where Joker dies. Its strangely toxic the ship is, in darker universes Joker thrives off batman while Batman, not needing Joker the same way, is also kind of stuck with him. He won't kill him, and has even offered to help Joker. As much as I like the ship in Lego universe and Telltale universe, I agree that in terms of canon lore, BatJokes would never work out and is pretty toxic. Their relationship is kind of complicated honestly.
