I ordered the exercise bike on January 7th and it arrived on February 12th. ru-vid.comUgkxzg0clhbtRf2gGxPkVETFKJJKGqdsorQu The box must have been tossed around quite a bit because one whole side of the styrofoam was destroyed, and the other side foam was cracked. The Two zip ties holding the handlebars had broken loose and handlebars were loose in the box. There are two small holes in the foam on the right side of the handlebars, I guess from rolling around inside the box. Assembly was straight forward and easy. I am 6 ft 5 in 220 lb and the handlebars and seating positions fully adjustable and work great, I'm getting full leg extension. The noise level is very, very low and acceptable. The adjustment knob for the pressure on the flywheel works well also. The exercise bike is very well made, sturdy and easy move around. This is my first exercise bike and will keep me in shape over the winter. Update 3/19/21: when removing the sticker from the wheel, make sure you remove any sticker glue also. I thought mine was clean but I was getting a slight noise from the glue. Once cleaned off, its super quite. Also the monitor didn't work, tracked it down to the pickup device wasn't in the hole. Once I moved in the hole, it works fine. Do NOT put it in until it touches or it will damage the pickup.

I'm tall and prefer the Hack Squat where your back rests against the pad and you push back while your back is kept straight and supported. With the Hammer Squat the lower I go the more the backrest bends forward folding me up and straining my back. I can barely go to parallel before I feel all crunched up. The strength curve is much better than the Hack Squat but puts too much pressure on my back. It would be better if the backrest didn't bend forward and just stayed in the fixed position. Also, it's not adjustable so short people can't use the machine. I've seen a bunch of people in the gym (mostly girls) position themselves in the machine only to find that their shoulder can't reach the pads.

Bro I've both in my personal gym, one with leg press and hack squat combo, other is v squat machine shown in this video please tell me what's the difference between both hack squat and v squat machine 🙏

@@indianhomegymequipment3424 When you do the Hammer V squat machine as you lower yourself, the back pad presses forward against your back, forcing you to bend forward. I'm tall so as I start to get below parallel it squishes me forward putting a lot of strain on my back. With the Hack squat, the back pad doesn't bend forward so it always keeps you upright. I enclosed a RU-vid link (it was a Dorian favorite if you've seen his "Blood and Guts" video). So being upright you are just pushing with your quads and your lower back is kept straight and upright. The Hammer would be perfect if they just kept the back portion from pressing forward as you lower yourself. @@indianhomegymequipment3424 The Hack squat is better for me because it allows me to stay upright. Being tall the Hammer squat smashes me forward. The Hammer does replicate the traditional barbell better than the Hack squat but I wanted to get away from the barbell squat because I start to bend forward as the reps get harder. I don't want to do a low back exercise. I do stiff leg deads for lower back. And, it worked for Dorian Yates. He did no barbell squats during his Olympia reign. Just extensions, leg press, and Hack squats.

I've used this before but I turn around facing the pads for a few sets here and there. On some of the sets when I'm facing the pads I do a shoulder press at the top of my squat using the handles to work my shoulders and triceps. How much weight can the handles safely support is my question. Thank you

@@Yoshitoshi7 going full rom is not always better, thats why you only need to squat to parralel in competition and you hit quads more when not going full rom. going all the way down CAN BE GOOD but you loose tension on the quads in the bottom. this is why many bodybuilders tend to do time under tension and don't lock out or go all the way down.

@@VentandInvent but you can a nice power rack with attachments for same cost. Priced this out at almost 5k. I’d just buy a full power rack with attachments for pull downs, jammer arms and safety straps for better value.

Feet to far in front of you, need to have your body in a straight line directly under the shoulder pads. Go "all" the way down (unless there is a medical reason that keeps you from doing that, in which case you shouldn't be using the machine), for a full range of motion (do not bounce at the bottom). When rising...do not lock your knees at the top (only go up 3/4's of the way). Do all reps without pausing at the top or bottom of the movement. This will work your entire hips/legs.

Terrible advice, you never want your knees to travel infront of your feet which is what would happen if you stand in a straight line under the shoulder pads.

JONES534 this is bad advice, place your feet where it allows you to lift all the weight through your heels and not your toes. Every one has different foot positionings.

Go down to parallel for quads...more down is pointless, and is more of your glutes, hams....and easier for a back injury...

Machines are literally better for hypertrophy than barbell squats. It has nothing to do with how one single individual looks. Only an imbecile would think that
