You can get this same exact kayak from ningbo vicking kayaks for $500. Looks like alot of kayak companies buy from them and resell for double or even triple the price.

@@o0XFernX0o Ningbo Vicking is a kayak manufacturing plant. They're no different than any other manufacturing plant. They design and make kayaks for several different companies. I've never heard of or seen anyone using the Vicking line of kayaks

Good review, I was hoping to see a good shot of the whole underside hull, the bow has intrigued me with how unique it is and would like to see how rest is shaped. How do you like the pivot point in the pedal drive? My buddy has a native which seems to have the exact same drive except for the pivot and that looked a little tricky to get out. Overall still on my list of potentials.

I like the pedal drive a lot. It's very smooth. I had a Feel Free Lure before this kayak. That pedal drive system has a lock out feature that made the pedal drive super easy to remove when on the water. I wish the Hammerhead had a similar feature. It's kinda tricky getting the prop to line up and pull the drove out, but it's not terrible.

how thick is the plastic? do you feel any flex in it when standing or walking on it?

@tomasm87 plastic is same thickness as most other kayaks. Very stable. There is some flex to it walking out on the front of it, but nothing that warps or hurts the integrity of the kayak.

You mentioned in the video that you had no issues with side scan while transducer is mounted underneath in the transducer mount. Is that still the case? Also did you have to modify the mount to get it flush with the bottom?

Side scan is still working as it should. I did modify the mount to get it flush with the bottom. I used rubber washers and a little bit longer bolt.
