In this video I set up a hammock with tarp to test during a rain storm. I specifically wanted to try out this gear in the rain before I head out on an adventure.
I set up at home so I could work out exactly what I need for this type of adventure as hammock camping is relatively new to me. With the addition of the bug net I think I will be good to go.
Although this wasn't a backwoods adventure I had a lot of fun using some new gear in adverse conditions to prepare for the real thing. I can't wait to get out and put it all to the test.

Well done Chris! I like that lightweight table. I've been thinking about getting something like that, bending down all the time to cook gets old fast! Who makes yours? Cheers, Ron.

It’s made by Sportneer, mine is fabric top with poles to give it some rigidity, they also make one with aluminum folding top which is more sturdy I think, both on Amazon, worth the extra little bit to bring.
