Hammock Underquilt Installation

Wow, this video is exactly what I've been looking for. I've had my Chameleon hammock and Cedar Ridge underquilt for a year but never got the setup quite right. This shows me the final tricks. I'm a big fan of Dutchware!

That was good, helpful, and very interesting. You need to do more of these! Looks like I will be getting some quilt hangar hooks. I would like to this done with a 3/4 bottom quilt. I always have issues with the foot end Getting tangled up and such.

Hey Dutch, thanks for the video. I got my Cedar Ridge 20 degree UP under quilt yesterday for my Chameleon Hammock and this video really helped me out a lot. Merry Christmas Dutchware Gear and Cedar Ridge Outdoors.

I’m curious how this all changes when trying to tie out the hammock out to stakes. Or for tying out the gear puches out to stakes.

Why not make the underquilt water proof so no need to carry an extra underquilt protector.

My Chameleon only has one set of hooks / hangers on each end. What’s up with that?

great video. my only question is how do you snug up the cords while you are in the hammock? I made that mistake last weekend and got really cold. I must have had an air gap. thanks again for great video

what if my hammock doesn't have clips for an underquilt can I still use an underquilt with it I have a quanfeng qf hammock with an integrated bug net

So the underquilt hooks WON'T hurt the bug net?

Says he sleeps head right/feet left, adjusts the UQ for the complete opposite diagonal lay.

The foot end didn't look like it was closed up all the way. Can you explain if that was just the camera angle or if there was still a small gap?

Dutch, would using your new electric hammer make installing this quilt even easier?

I have a few UQs and always feel like there is not enough shock cord (too tight). Is there a best length of cordage for a standard Chameleon? Thanks, Dutch!
