A major W for YBA, shows that they're taking steps into making actual content. Reminds me of a time where YBA was centered around passion and less about monetization. Love to see it
Hamon having synergy with the Pluck sword truly is something we've needed for a LONG time. AND YBA being the only game to remember Metal Silver Overdrive. . . Makes me happy, truly.
Remember, as said by uzu, this hamon got renamed to Hamon (Johnnatan Joestar), which means we can get something like Hamon (Joseph Joestar) or Hamon (Caezar Zepelli) in the future.
I was hoping for clackers being a move but then again who knows what will happen in the future, also like someone else mentioned I too think the free spec storage coming with the last spec rework

German Science (fan spec concept, change it to "cyborg" or something to keep it kid friendly) Abilities: -Metal Body (passive): You take 10%-30% less damage, depending on skill nodes. Costs 1 skill point. -UV Amplifier: Blind people in an area and reduce their move speed by 50% for 2-5 seconds, depending on skill nodes, and do 10 damage to them. Sets vampires on fire for the duration. UV resist reduces damage taken from the fire. Has a cooldown of 13 seconds. Costs 3 skill points. -Torso Machine Gun: Rapidly fire bullets with a machine gun in a large area that comes out of your cyborg torso for 7-4 seconds, depending on skill nodes. Once you start firing, however, you cannot stop or change direction. Does 10-25 damage per second, depending on skill nodes. Has a 20-17 second cooldown, depending on skill nodes. Costs 2 skill points. -Focused Gun Fire: Similar to torso machine gun, you fire for 7-4 seconds nonstop depending on skill nodes, but in a line this time, and you can rotate slowly. Does 30-60 damage per second, depending on skill nodes. Has a 15-12 second cooldown, depending on skill nodes. Costs 3 skill points. Extra skills: -HARDER METAL: Improve metal body's damage reduction by 5%. Has 4 tiers. Tier 1 Costs 1 skill point, tier 2 costs 2, and tiers 3 and 4 cost 3. -Blinding Light: Increase UV amplifier's duration by 0.5 seconds per tier. Has 6 tiers. Tiers 1-3 cost 1 skill point each, tier 4 costs 2, and tiers 5-6 cost 3. -Extra Magazine: Reduce the cooldown of torso machine gun and focused gun fire by 0.75 seconds per tier. Has 4 tiers. Tier 1 costs 1 skill point, tiers 2 and 3 cost 2, and tier 4 costs 3. -FASTER FIRE: Reduce the duration of torso machine gun and focused gun fire by 1 second and increase DPS by 5 and by 10 respectively per tier. Has 3 tiers. Tier 1 costs 1 skill point, tier 2 costs 2, and tier 3 costs 4. Design Intention: Use your UV amplifier to blind opponents and slow them down so they can't escape your gunfire. The drawback is that the abilities have moderately high cooldowns, so use them wisely. YOU FOOLS, GERMAN SCIENCE IS THE WORLD'S FINEST! Any thoughts or improvements? Uzu, if you're even reading this, it would be an amazing addition to the game. Edit: The faster fire skill does reduce the duration of your gunfire. This is actually a benefit because you will be able to move sooner if the firing is over sooner. Plus, upgrading this skill still increases the overall damage of both gunfire moves, and makes it happen in a smaller time frame, which is generally a good thing. Edit2: I should probably clarify whether or not these moves are blockable as well. UV amplifier cannon be blocked or parried (perfect blocked). Torso machine gun is blockable. Focused gunfire breaks blocks and cannot be parried.

Not that I have any complaints or anything I just think Hammon could have different variants like the bubbles or cracker-volley. And could be something like mix with other fighting styles but I think the YBA team has done an amazing job because I really love this style I hope you could this could be something in Yba thanks Uzukee
@@LeDerpyMan if we get another version of hamon plus joseph and caesar npcs then it would probably rewrite yba, so many different combos and so many people would probably use different stands just so that they could see whatd be better
Did this man fr just rework EVERY spec? It makes sense, the old ones felt outdated compared to the newer content, but it's still very impressive. Amazing work, Uzu and team.

Thank you for putting the properties of the moves in the showcase, it helps a lot man does twoh need to keep being nerfed 😂 its kit is so so bad, although i suppose with the influx of specs being builds on their own it may be a foresighted-measure, as damage resis bypass is nothing to ignore. (Also vampire got GUTTERED with all the damage over time effects cutting blood regen, i saw a nerf coming but not in that way dear god)
If vamp get a rework I would like to recommend these new skills Vampire strength-basically just increases your destructive power for both stand and non stand mode. Vampire skin-increase’s your defense in stand and non stand mode. Zombie minions-the player can spawn up to three zombie henchmen just like D4C spawn clones to attack. Freezing- freezing is fine the way it is but It should be when you heavy punch a frozen player they get knock back a few feet and lose a limb or two. Space ripper stingy eyes- still fine but can use a little more range
good idea, but spawning henchmen sounds too op for a spec, maybe hamon would revert vampiric strength to normal when it's charged. maybe a freeze counter for vampire that ragdolls the opponent? space ripper stingy eyes might have a charge with a heritage for the future-ish quick animation.

Create zombies , space ripper stingy eyes with bleed that combo extends , suck blood now guard breaks , the freeze has hyper armor and stand crash , a mini-beatdown .
the Rework is cool and all, but what i'm MORE hyped up about is something I noticed. In Discord, it's been re-named to *Jonathan's* Hamon, most likely meaning... Hamon styles for other Hamon users like Joseph and Caesar! Bro, just thinking of that is so damn good!
Really? That's a cool detail. Hope they add those styles! Could be more fun that way, adding different techniques.and variety to hamon. If only they did that with boxing too, that'd be cool as well+
I mean tbh, I think it'd be interesting to have a variation for Lisa Lisa. No JoJo game has EVER had her as a playable character / fighting style, MAYBE YBA could be the first? kind of a stretch tho since we don't get to see her in action really
Yeah, I doubt they will add any different Hamon stuff, the developers can hardly give what they promised, much less add something amazing. If they do I will gladly eat my words.

@@s1l3nce64 It feels like hamon was never tested. All his moves do CRAZY damage + a lot of them are combo extenders. They care about game, not money? Man, do you even on yba discrod? There was so many sneak peaks about skin remodels and almost zero sneak peaks about actual stand remodels. Don't let me forget about free spec storage. It was 2 years and we still didnt get any. There is no reason besides money to not add a free fighting style storage. I'm not english, if there any grammar mistakes, i'm sorry

thank you that now when you roll back for ger you can't use the barrage, this is very bad news for me, ger is my favorite stand, and you did it with him.
wow yba actually starting to update more, usually they update every year now its like every 1-2 month. Tbh its a huge upgrade and the hamon actually look balanced IF luck and pluck has a long cooldown otherwise good job Uzu👍

Hey uzu I have a request please do the rework of stands like sp and tw cus mainly these stands in close range kinda buffed up plus please add animation for sp specificly cus some stands like tw also has its own animation like it's road roller and stuff just like sptw beat down pls add it cuse part 3 star platinum had lot of beatdown pls its a major request.
Hamon Visual added with regular attacks is New, but Wasn't Hamon Applying to Regular Attacks always a thing. unless basic m1's never had Hamon applied but pretty sure they did.
So I have a doubt if you can have hamon and then put on the stone mask will you die or just you can only use hamon and vamp powers one at a time or with the new free spec storage you need to equip it to actually use it i have this doubt pls answer if there's gonna be a fix preventing it from actually happening
