They are called Hampton Inn here in the US, but whenever we've stayed there, it is always clean and comfortable, the staff is very helpful, and our son adores the free breakfast. Once we had to get on the road before the breakfast was ready and the front desk packed us little to-go bags to take with us.

When my son finished school at 17 he travelled America and Canada with a few friends. Don't ask me how concerned I was as especially that aweful contagious disease says was out. He was a sensible lad and a good man. He remembered his nana at the statue of liberty as it was her dream. He went to the yet built ground zero to pay his respects. He ended up in Canada going to the Rolling Stones concert. I gave him good advice NOT make sure you get a taxi home. Ofcourse he said yes for me not to worry really they slept in a bus shelter

Aw. We stayed in the same brand, but in Dundee during the pause of COVID. A much needed break. Breakfast was pre packed. Understandable! Staff, absolutely fantastic, especially with the time we were in plan to go back next year. ❤

Hi, we stayed here for 1 night as we were caught in a rail strike & couldnt get our train until next day after returning from London. We found the Hotel exceptional & our room was 3rd floor 336 & set out exactly the same as your room and the TV was as you say Massive !! 😀 we loved our stay and breakast was great everything you could want staff were very helpful .A Fantastic hotel and highly recommended, im sharing our experience with all our friends and family, & next time we visit York we DEFINITELY booking this hotel 😊, Thankyou so much for sharing your experience with all of us ❤

We go to York for two or three days every year and always stay in this hotel. It's very comfortable and clean and the staff are really helpful and friendly. It's very central to the Shambles and museaum ect 5 min taxi ride from the station and cheap fares. good value for money I highly recommend

Went to York for a mother's day treat with my sister in law last year,we stopped in the Double tree by Hilton,my room was £153 for 1 night without brekkie😮, lovely hotel but not paying that amount again. We paid extra for the breakfast, think it was an extra tenner. 😮😊

Your room looked nice. I always stay at premier inn stansted when i visit my parents, it has free wifi there. Booked early and got 2 nights for 90 quid 👌

Great video. Looks like the hotel people have thought of everything a traveller needs and everywhere is clean. I like the idea of dispensers for soap etc rather than bottles or sachets - at least no one can take them away. My brother and I went to a family wedding in North London 15 years ago last month. The reception was to take place at the Hilton Hotel in Watford and as most guests were from out of town (we live in Sheffield), with the groom's family from Ireland, near enough everyone was staying there from the Friday to Sunday morning so we had a few drinks in the bar on the first night. Breakfast was like a buffet with hot food as in this video, every taste catered for. My brother and I stayed in the same room but separate beds of course. Each bed had a fitted sheet and quilt, all the bedding in white. Before we left on the Sunday morning, I stripped the beds and left all the bedding folded up in a pile on one of the beds ready for whoever was to clean the room, making sure the place was as tidy as possible so they had little work to do. I think £154 was a fair price for Martin and Sharon to pay when taking into consideration the amenities available in the room and the cleanliness of the place as a whole. What one would expect in such an establishment.

Looked a nice room , your up early, so ready to be get going. I never get to sleep well in another bed. The bed you had looks like one of our extra large ones so much room in them , I wouldn’t want to go back to normal double bed size. Food was well presented for breakfast wasn’t it.looked really nice.

Looked amazing, were going to the Premier inn Edinburgh next week for two days and with two breakfasts for the two days it came to £160, but i booked it months ago, great video.

In Europe we would not be happy to be charged for internet in a hotel. I have never been charged in my country or any other european union country that I have visited. Sometimes there maybe coverage problems due to where the hotel is located or a particular room, but we have been offered some kind of compensation like free breakfast ect. Never have paid for it though. Another interesting video, Thank you once again :)

I must say everything looked clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there. No bottles of water in the fridge must have been a house keeping error. The lift at the entrance is for disabled access and I would think enshrined in law. Can't imagine any hotel getting planning permission in this day and age without disabled access and rightly so. Thanks, great review.

The room looks lovely, I’ve stayed in the same hotel, but at Bristol Airport, I couldn’t fault it, there is a linked cover way which takes you to the terminal.🙏🏻

Hi Martin and Sharon, what a beautiful hotel. You couldn't fault the room. I don't think the breakfast looked to bad, the only thing i noticed wasn't there was fried eggs. Do you not have any heating on at home. I can't stand the cold, I've just gotten my bills in for the last 3 months, the gas was 360 pounds and the electric was 140 pounds. My fixed 2 year tariff comes to an end in two weeks so God knows what it will be then

Looked a nice hotel, bit pricey 👍😁. What annoys me is that you cannot check in until 3pm and checkout is usually by 11am. So over £160 for 20 hour stay. Look forward to your next video 👍👍😁

Rashers and sausages looked good. I would prefer grilled tomato to beans. Have stayed at Premium Inns in London & Edinburgh…great hotels. Haven’t stayed at this brand.

Hi both…I am a fan of the Premier Inn, like yourselves.But I have to admit the review of the hotel,was pretty good, I personally thought the breakfast didn’t look as good, what do you think?
