Hamradun performing our version of Hanus G. Johansen's melody "Fagra Blóma".
The lyrics are a poem by celebrated Faroese poet Poul F. Joensen.
This video was recorded at Summarfestivalurin 2018 in Klaksvík.

1. Fagra blóma tú sum prýðir
fjallatindar berg og skørð,
bø og ong og grønar líðir,
hvat er fagrari á jørð?
Eina blómu tó eg kenni,
fagrast hon av øllum er,
sjálvt ei rósan líkist henni,
tað er hon eg valdi mær.
2. Blómur spretta móti vári,
følna, tá ið heystið er,
mín, hon blóma man alt árið,
um so kalt og kavið er. -
Einaferð hon bert kann blóma,
følnar hon, eg følni við.
Fylgja skal eg blómu míni,
til tann síðsta hvíldarfrið.

English translation: Beautiful flower, you who decorate mountain peaks, cliff and pass, field and meadow and green slopes, what is more beautiful on earth? However, I know a flower, she is the most beautiful of all, not even a rose compares to her, she is the one I chose for myself. Flowers sprout towards Spring, wither when it´s Autumn, mine, she blooms all year, even if there´s cold and snow. She can only blossom once, she withers, I wither with her. I will accompany my flower to the final resting place

@@andreja9119 It was great to hear Pól Arni singing in live. And Hamradun. The same good as on CD. Haha, I did a long way from Slovenia to Faroe Islands to be on the concert and on Summar Festivalurin. :) But it was worth. The crowd was fantastic also.

Vi är den missande länken från Sverige pratar ett helt annan dialekt/språk, Våmhus/Älvdalen urnordiska vi pratat, Island förstår när vi pratar även vissa ord på Gotland, Tungle (måne), då vet vi, samma sak på Island. Min mormor skrev i runor långt på in på 70-talet
