So sorry about the bad video quality, the camera decided not to focus today, and the video editor messed up a lot! 😅 Thank-you so much for watching!!! 😊
The setup of your enclosure looks so incredibly great. Can you please tell me if the enclosure is home-made and if so where can I find the building instructions? Or where you bought it if it is not home-made Thank you and greetings from Germany
Hello, really sorry for replying so late. The enclosure is home-made and I haven't yet done a video on the building instructions, although I would like to in the future. The materials that we used were mainly white-faced chipboard, aquarium (pet-safe) silicone and 6.4mm laminated glass. I really hope that this helps 🧡
Thanks for the answer, that helps... it would be great if you had the exact dimensions of your hamster enclosure. Could you write them to me if you remember them. Thanks
russell is living the dream in such a lovely enclosure ...it looks so good . some video suggestions for you ...1 ]my hamster routine [ daily , weekly ,morning etc ] .2] hamster teeth and claw care and tips . 3 ] hamster products ..the best and the worst . 4 ] setting up an enriching hamster enclosure . 5 ] diy boredom breaker / toys etc .
Thank-you for all the suggestions! I hadn't thought of those! I've got some footage (I think) of setting up Russell's enclosure, so will definitely make a video on setting up an enriching hamster enclosure! Thanks so much for always leaving really nice comments!!! 😊
very bad idea, on the one hand hamsters are loners and on the other hand you shouldn't just risk babies if you don't know anything about animal genetics. It's better to leave that to the experts like reputable breeders
Thank you so much for subscribing!!! 💙 I only ever adopt my hamsters though, because I prefer to see hamsters in their natural environment. So the hamsters that I do keep, I keep so that they can have a better life whilst they are domesticated. 🐹😊
@@poppieisabella4728 I don’t personally have a hamster, but my brother has a female panda hamster named MooMoo. I have a male guinea pig named Azrael, but I am a lover of all rodents! (especially hamsters!)
Thank you!!! 😊 It looks like a nightmare to clean... but It's quite easy to clean because you only have to spot-clean cages over 100×50cm, so I just clean the places that get dirty like the sandbath. The rest of the cage my hamster just walks on, so it doesn't need to have any large cleans. I hope that this makes sense! 😄🐹
@@poppieisabella4728 Hi! Love your cage!I was wondering since you said that you only have to spotclean large enclosures, but i always wonder how you know if your hammie didnt pee somewhere randomly in the bedding? Or that a certain spot that i dont know about is getting peed on and not cleaned. Its not like you can sift through all of the bedding.. Especially with so much of it. Im almost finished building my own 160x50x70cm cage, so i was wondering if you have any tips :) Thanks!
Thanks for watching? Nooo, thanks for sharing, really. This is the best possible way to start my Sunday, happy watching a happy loved hammi in a huge enclosure. All those hideouts and different kind of substrates. My Russian King Hannibal lived in 155x 50 cms had lots of hideouts, platforms, tunnels, small sand bath....his 🏰 Castle I miss him...but mostly important here, you are showing the world about giving the very best to your little one. Thanks 💖🐭💖
Thank you so much!!! Your comment made my day!!! So sorry to hear that you miss Hannibal, he is with you as long as you remember him. I think that my hamster secretly uses his sand bath as his castle too, it would explain how he spends most of his time there, probably protecting it... Lol! 🐹 Thank you!
I think I meant sandbath + his castle. His sand bath was under his castle's steps/ bridge. He actually had a 3 level palace and he never destroyed a thing. And yes, he will always be with me 💖🐭💖 Thanks for your words 😊
He must have loved his Castle 🏰 loads to not destroy it! 😂🐹 His castle sounds so cool! I would love to live in a mini Castle if I was a hamster! 😊 It's one of those brilliant things that just make your day, (if you know what I mean), like when a cat walks into a shop, or when you try to work out why the fear of long words is one of the longest words in the English Dictionary??? Hannibal's mini Castle is one of those things! 😂
