Si, bien, aunque antes nos hablaste algo a cerca de otra serie que comentaste en tus videos anteriores de Isabella and the magic fireside quest🌟, me encantaba esa idea y que se hiciera realidad🌟ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HNUQ0-hMePI.html
I still have issues with Gretel’s design (her face BOTHERS me because it’s so different than everyone else’s, it’s like she was made for a different show), but honestly the music, comedy, and brother/sister dynamic won me over. Sure there’s moments where the animation looks cheap as hell or the pacing and storytelling is way off, but I think Dan is still proving that he can make a competent show that tugs at the heartstrings a little
One thing that can drastically change Gretel’s design is… EYEBROWS. I saw a Twitter post where someone put eyebrows on an image of Gretel, and it looked so much bettee
One thing that can drastically change Gretel’s design is… EYEBROWS. I saw a Twitter post where someone put eyebrows on an image of Gretel, and it looked so much better
@@cnj6559 Yeah it really bothers me that she doesn't have visible eyebrows. I feel it makes her default expression look spacey and weird. I found it really distracting honestly.
Biggest problem is the animation. I find it frustrating that Phineas and Ferb, a show that came out 15 YEARS AGO has far better animation and character design. other than that it is pretty good
its because of budgeting. Reason because of low budgeting is probably cuz of how covid has affected big companies like disney. also maybe worse budgeting cuz milo merphys law wasnt that successful compared to phineas n ferb. so with a new show coming out its understandable to put less funding
I had some problems with the first episodes. Mainly concerning the pacing, animation and logic at some points. But still somehow I kind of enjoyed the premier and think that the series is really promising.
@@JennyThePlatypus pues ni idea, pero lo malo es que no entiendo el english demasiado, pero sabia que al final mi corazón se me fastidió y que era una broma
2:00 eeh. Like you said, this is the same world as Phineas and Ferb. The same world where two siblings can compose a song, have it become a local sensation with billboards, posters, merchandise and (most importantly) elevator music, fade into obscurity after a diva moment only to reunite the band for a final concert; all in the same day without their mother finding out in the first place. The speed at which events transpire in this world isn't exactly unseen before. So Gretel already having a fanbase (with merchandising opportunities) not only isn't unexpected, but actually on brand
I kind of teared up when you said that Gretel is confirmed to be ADHD. It's nice to feel seen. This officially makes Gretel and Percy Jackson (upcoming) the Disney characters that I see myself in the most.
I am just gonna say now. Kevin will eventually get superpowers somewhere down the line as the series go on, but his insecurity and his need to proof he can be better as Gretel will cause him to snap and true evil. Tell me that this isn't something that'll eventually happen if this series can make it past it first season.
The series had been renewed for a second season before the first episode even premiered. It's safe to say that Disney Channel has a lot of confidence in this.
The first few episodes of any show are bound to have some holes. But once these are ironed out, a show like Hamster and Gretel will become much better.
@@BlythePennyBicycle21 Theme songs are a similar tone and style (especially the brass section), the main character is an optimistic girl with superpowers who has an animal sidekick that they fight crime with and a brother without powers, and I think the biggest aspect is the villains. I mean don't act like Professor Exclamation doesn't sound and look like a villain that could've been in word girl. By no means am I saying the show is ripping off Word Girl - it's not THAT similar. I'm just saying it's REMINISCIENT of word girl, as in, it has some similar aspects. that's all.
I really liked the episodes and I didn’t mind the pacing issues or animation, I just found it hilarious. Also it will most likely get better later on, this was the first episodes they made so the animation and pacing may get better later.
I have big doubts about the show when it was first announced, and after seeing the first episode, it’s actually pretty good! The animation is nice, the characters are likable and fun, and the stories are heartwarming and action-packed. Hamster & Gretel is way better than what I expected and I can’t wait for more episodes to come out on Disney+ soon!
Having a character with ADHD makes me so happy! As someone with ADHD she is a big mood. I would’ve been just a reckless as a kid if I didn’t also have anxiety lol
I saw the first episode and I personally think it looks like a promising show. Definitely a little more "out there" even compared to Phineas & Ferb, but definitely creative with some memorable characters and funny gags. I really find Kevin appealing as a character. As an older brother myself, Kevin kind of reminds me of myself when I was sixteen. I feel like he's more realistic than previous protagonists Phineas, Ferb and Milo Murphy, and a much better older sibling than Candace. Unlike Candace, he supports his little sister in her adventures and does his best to help her and Hamster despite not having superpowers himself. Kevin's a great character for this series.
I think the silhouette of Doofenshmirtz in a helmet is going to be a ‘Marty The Rabbit Boy And His Musical Blender’ situation, and that villain will be his cousin.
There are so many times Gretel and Kevin basically revealed Gretel and Hamster's secret identity but I feel like the Town just knows about it and let's the kid have her fun.
Anyone else see this similarity? Title characters: One is chipper and sweet, the other doesn't talk very often, only when needed for a joke. Big sibling kinda resents younger for their abilities. its just Phineas and Ferb with superheroes! Ok, not really. Although the basics are similar, the premises, dynamics, and characters are really different. Loving the show so far, its hilarious and SO fun to watch
I honestly would say this show was better than expected too It still has that Phineas and Ferb / Milo Murphy’s law charm to it and even before the show premiered Hamster became my favorite Character. I’m guessing he’s gonna be like Ferb getting at least a line an episode I wonder if he’s gonna get more lines as the show goes on like Ferb And for everyone who talked about how sweet Gretel and Kevin’s relationship was where totally right I love it already and both of them are pretty reliable I’d be annoyed of I was promised powers but my sisters pet got them instead and i know the episode thought math was important I still hate it Last but not least the animation isn’t the best sometimes it fells like it’s skipping but that doesn’t ruin the show and will hopefully improve as the show goes on And as of Gretel’s voice being to deep I can understand that but I also love the fact That Melie ( if I’m spelling her name right) is voicing her while watching dans tik toks / RU-vid shorts I found their Father Daughter relationship to be really funny / wholesome so I love that she’s working on the show with him but I also fell they should’ve made Gretel at least 11/12 I get it’s based in dans relationship but of Gretel is 12 and Kevin’s 16 their about half a decade apart and it still works
This show is really funny and super relatable to me so far. I chuckled at several moments in the first episodes, and I understand how it feels to only do what I feel is right and not listen to other people’s suggestions.
I've only seen the first episode, so far, but it made me smile several times, it's new so I'm not expecting perfection, but I really like it, and the grid song is my favorite
I have to say ep3 and 4 was when it really got fun for me. The jokes being thrown at lightning speed feels oddly like how PnF and MML was like. And of course, I can’t forget the great side gags.
I just wish there was a *_MEGA_* movie with all the shows *_COMBINED INTO ONE_* and it's about them fighting a monster as a team using Phineas and Ferb's positivity and Milo's cause of *_COMPLETE CHAOS_* no matter where he goes and Hamster and Gretel's super powers. I call it: "The Tri State Team!" (With help from Candace and the Fireside girls and Jeremy and Vanessa and Stacy)
Its so weird how this show has a noticeably Lower Budget than the previous shows despite them being Massive hits on Disney before, I’m just glad this is a very fun show.
I had problems with the pacing of Empower failure and Oakey Dokey, but other than that, These episodes were a lot of fun. I think these episodes are fun despite what others might say about it. But I can't deny that the sneak peek di not do this show justice. Despite it's admittingly rough start, I do think that Hamster and Gretel will get better as it goes on. ^_^ Also why the hell wasn't the Family tradition song NOT in the soundtrack?!
I’m an older sister who has adhd and I struggle with math so I can definitely relate to greatel, but my step brother says Phineas has adhd and I told him that Phineas doesn’t have adhd cause he can build a rollar coaster without getting distracted
in episode 2 where Kevin says he has plans, the family dog while not the focus of the scene, acts really goofy like. It licks the table leg, which seems simple enough. But! If a 3rd season gets greenlit and a 3 show crossover too, it could be that the family dog is a member of OWCA. It could be acting overly goofy as a cover story. I am probably reading into this too much😅 although it probably wont happen. It would be cool and open up a lot of possibillites for a crossover.
You know, idk, it kinda looks like that dimensional guy pants with a unicorn, it's not two brothers making a rollercoaster, i think this will be good but it breaks my heart to know that nothing will be so popular as phineas and ferb, because that was different disney times...
Si, pues ojalá que la expareja de phineas isabella llegen a las pantallas en isabella and the magic fireside quest🌟, quizás phineas y ferb puedan estar en esa serie como personajes secundarios
“The animation is still noticeable worse than the previous two shows overall” but you chose the part of the first episode with the BEST animation to play right as you said that lol! Tbh I feel like it must be because of Covid. They probably had to compromise and make it a little cheaper. The show is still so nice tho, that I really don’t care that much. They did a good job with what they had:)
if Phineas and Ferb, Milo Murphy Law and Hamster and Gretel does do a 3 way crossover it should be called Hamster and Gretel Murphy’s Law with Phineas and Ferb
I’d would love for them to bring Rodney back from phineas and ferb as a villain or another villain that perry and Heinz worked together to defeat (don’t remember the name)
I hope I'm not too late to comment about hamster and gretel and the first 2 episodes are wonderful and the theme song is very cool so I'm excited to see new episodes of hamster and gretel! ❤🐹🦸♀️😍✌
Si, pero sigo pensando si la serie de isabella and the magic fireside quest se haga realidad ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HNUQ0-hMePI.html
In honor of the 15th Anniversary of Phineas and Ferb, do you have any plans for future videos for the celebration 🍾 including the history of the show, favorite 🤩 PnF moments, characters and songs 🎵, upcoming projects like 👍 a third movie 🍿 for Disney+ coming and some of the characters appeared in Milo Murphy’s Law?
I’ll be honest, when I first saw the initial like, teaser images and announcement this was the next entry in the Dwampyverse, the premise didn’t super entice me. Then I saw the initial clip for the show, and I was a bit more optimistic, since the first clip was decently entertaining, in my eyes. Having watched the show now, though, it’s good, all things considered. It’s still getting its bearings, naturally, with only two episodes and four segments under its belt, but the show is pretty entertaining overall. Gretel is cute and a good character. Yeah, her voice actress’ performance isn’t the greatest, but I’ve seen plenty of not so great starts that improve with time in a role. And she still does a good job for the character- I would expect a child to sound like how Gretel does, so in that regard, she does a good job at making the character sound how I expect. And Kevin is easily the most entertaining of the cast so far- he’s funny, snarky, and a good big brother to Gretel. Hamster gets good one liners, not much beyond that. Overall, it’s a solid start. Not a super mind blowing start to the show, but it genuinely impressed and entertained me and had the charm Phineas and Ferb and what I saw of Milo Murphy’s law had, with the potential for actual character development for a fun cast and a neat superhero story.
From the Teaser alone, Kevin might be MY Fave Character of that Show. AFTER watching The Pilot, I'm REALLY sure that He is :D What I didn't think would happen is in The Pilot, I'd get a 2nd Fave Character from that Show: Their cousin, Fred :)
Besides having weird pacing I feel like hamster and gretel is very much on par with the other two shoes in this universe and that I really misjudged it pre release. The UFO giving them their powers felt too quick and abrupt but now I see that was on purpose and that these aliens have much more chaotic plans giving humans these powers.
I had a question 🙋♀️, if Hamster & Gretel did very well this month then Disney can greenlit a third Phineas and Ferb film for Disney+, I want to see what’s the title gonna be called, what’s the plot gonna be about and when it’s release date will come out, it will be the second Phineas and Ferb film for Disney+ after Candace Against the Universe, Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension was a Disney Channel Original Movie and Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe was a Disney+ movie, I want new songs 🎵 it will have and what the new villain 🦹♀️ is gonna be, the plot of Candace Against the Universe is about Candace and Vanessa are both abducted by aliens 👽 and Phineas, Ferb, Buford, Baljeet, Isabella and Doofenshmirtz are set out to rescue 🛟 them where Candace finds herself utopia in a far off planet 🌎 free of pesky little brothers, the villain in the film is Super Super Big Doctor and there’s 11 songs 🎵 in the film such as Such a Beautiful Day, Unsung Hero and Adulting, so I want see the new villain 🦹♀️ and new songs 🎵 the new Phineas and Ferb movie for Disney+ it will have, what do you think 💭 about my text if Hamster & Gretel becomes a success and Disney would finally greenlit a third Phineas and Ferb Disney+ film?
ep1 was ok, but later episodes were awesome, ep3 being my favourite so far. Theme song i personally did not like but it may grow on me. The animation and art style arent perfect but i hope they get better. Otherwise i loved the comedy (it being the povenmire-marsh humor style which i love) and the stories so far. Really looking forward to this show!
i agree with that it should have started in the middle of the action and for kevin he could have said something like” i still can’t believe aliens gave a hamster unimaginable powers instead of me” and them gretel would comfort him and mention something elseabout the aliens whom would appear later. Idk if this is better but it could he more interested that way
Given the episode U F. Uh oh's ending, I think there is more to the alien voice being just Dan 's voice. I won't go over my idea in detail because of spoilers but it could be related to their parents
I really liked the first two episodes, despite some issues like pacing or the time-skip after the opening, which made me feel like I was supposed to already know all the characters during their introductions. Other than that, the dynamic between Gretel and Kevin is great and as much as I love Milo, it's a relief to see the story unfold slowly, without too many references to Milo or Phineas hinting at an impending crossover. What I also loved, as huge comic book fan, were all the subtle and non-subtle references like "Professor Ex... clamation", or Hamster constantly turning lumps of coal into diamonds, which is a thing Superman has done multiple times in various media, or, most notably, the opening of the show itself, as well as the transitions, which were clearly inspired by the 1966 Batman TV show stylistically and musically.
An animated tv show about a 9 year old girl and her pet hamster fighting crime why didn't we get an animated tv show like this growing up I was born in 2003 yall so I grew up with a talking antipromorphic sponge and later engineering 8 years Olds with a pet platypus who is a secret agent who make things during summer break
The first episode was really messy despite a really good song and fun voice acting. I wasn't going to look at the second episode until I saw this review. I'm glad I did because it was a lot of fun with plenty of laughs and some heartfelt moments. The show will probably need to find its footing but I'm looking forward to seeing what it has to offer.
WHO’S THE IMPOPPIBLE DUO THATYOU HEARD ABOUT? FASTER THEN A SCOOTER BUT STRONGER THEN METEL! WHO’S A LITTLE GIRL AND A Domesticated RODENT? WHO’S STILL STANDING WHEN YOU SEE THE BODIES SPREADING? IT’S… HAMSTER! HAMSTER! HAMSTER! HAMSTER AND GRETEL! IF THEY CAN’T DO IT THEN NOBODY CAN! HAMSTER! HAMSTER! HAMSTER! HAMSTER AND GRETE! AND ALSO KEVIN IN A MINI.VAN!
I agree that introducing their dynamic before the superpowers might have made the story a bit more interesting. I do like their dynamic though - I found that to be the best part of the show. Unfortunately though I'm really burned out on superhero stuff right now so unless the show does something really surprising with the superhero tropes, I don't plan to keep up with it much. I'll probably check in here and there for fun songs though cause I've always loved the songs in PnF and MML. :)
Disney thinks Hamstel & Gretel will be the next Phineas and Ferb bringing them loads of money... I'm not so sure about that, yeah the show is fun, nice to watch, but I don't think it's as good as Milo Murphy's Law and Phineas and Ferb. I wish they continued making mml instead of this. I think this cartoon will get good if what some people are commenting about Kevin turning evil turns out to be true. Gretel will have to grow a lot as a character in order to defeat her own brother and bring him back to her side. Makes me thing about tangled series, and that was an awesome twist, let's hope they do something good about all this. The aliens just wanting to watch some show giving random humans powers is also interesting. And let's hope once we get the crossover between mml, pnf and hag, Doof is not evil, since he's not evil on mml. Let's hope time didn't stop...
I actually think the show is better than milo Murphy's law. I also really like the blend of action and comedy in such a way that feels different from other shows
I think this shows animation is doing something similar to spectacular Spider-Man. That show saved time and money by having simple character designs so it had more money for really good action scenes. Hamster and Gretel seems to be doing the same thing, but it has stiffer talking scenes in exchange for really fun and fast action scenes.
