Just wondering is it bad to have stronger hamstrings than quads. Ive just started going to the gym and noticed my hamstrings are 2-3x stronger than my quads. Is this a good thing or am I also at a higher risk for injury
I do db squats, hex bar dls, then rdls to finish. Had overpowering quads a long time ago, and it lead to fascia issues. Plus I was doing stupid half reps with heavy leg presses.
Hi, Im 20 yrs and ive had 2 acl injuries. The second one happened when i was running straight forward. Could it be because of a weak hamstring? My quads are pretty strong and i train a lot. Hope you will answer me
Those hammies will save the ACL. I just wish my high bar was heavier than my RDL. My 10m sprint was middle of the pack in college rugby but my 100 made this prop soar like a winger. 😆 Based on anecdote alone, I wouldn't be shocked if there was a correlation between a low quad/ham ratio and PFPS.
