@@creamy_galaxy It's true and there are others like me. We were raised to be Zionists, but our spiritual understanding taught us to embrace Palestinian human rights. The next generation is where the seeds of peace will grow, as the students are showing us.
if a poor person is terrorising you. how can't you deal with them? ie. today is garbage bin day and poor people come scratch and collect scrap from everybody's bin. some people in our area actually threatens them to stop. verbally and sometimes physically. after the altercation the neighborhood people will post on the HOA group that a vagrant attacked them. I never respond in support of my neighbors. why? because this people isn't looking for shit. I always respond "if you dont like them recyclingtk survive, why not just give them some food so they can jusg go home and feed their family" yes all this to say the well off always have the right to call poorer people as terrorists! it's out of hand. all this to say. give the Palestinians what they need and also WHAT IS THEIRS. maybe hamas is terrorists but it certainly looks like they are the vagrants and ISRAEL is the UGLY NEIGHBORS HOA!

Greetings from from a Yugoslav person that knows your struggle! I grew up among brainwashed people, some of whom were my friends, and I know that it takes courage to talk to them against their cult leaders. But at the end of the day, there is nothing more precious than our freedom and our humanity! This is not just about Palestine, none of us will be free as long as the world is run by a small percentage of people who believe their lives and money are more important than anyone else's! Freedom to the world, humanity to the people!

I’m always amazed at the way Hamza handles himself when dealing with people hostile towards Palestinians. He reacts so calmly almost pitying these people for their ignorance and lack of humanity. Respect!
This is a trait I absolutely love in Palestinians, have noticed it again and again.. the dignified blend of pride and humility. Recently saw an interview with an elderly Palestinian man speaking of the European settlers who violently displaced his family during the Nakba, ‘What did we do to them except give them civilisation?’
I got into huge fights with my Isreali friend who I am not friends with anymore and those were so difficult to experience. Hamzah you have my upmost respect to be able to continually have these conversations with people who spew so much hate, manipulation and denial... power to you my brother

Ultimately, I think it's a good thing because the more you are honest with the world the more you lose the things that weren't aligned with you, opening space for better connections. However, you have to brace yourself with the violence you experience in that initial loss. Luckily for me these were just conversations.

According to my DNA test I am 100% white. For a few years now, I have worn a pin on my work lanyard bearing the face of Rouzan al-Najjar. I learned about her in the documentary Gaza Fights for Freedom and her story was heartbreaking to me. No one ever questions me about it.
I have to thank Michael Brooks and the Majority Report for introducing me to Ilan Pappé and Avi Shlaim. Their books and interviews gave me an entirely different perspective and began to really open my eyes to the suffering in Palestine. As an American, we don't learn the truth of our own history. Learning the truth of the history of other nations was never going to happen.
I thought he was much older. Because of the emotional stability he displayed in these interviews with IOF ppl, when a lot of ppl would have lost their temper.

I recommend _The Great Book Robbery_ which is a historical documentary about Al Nakba that focuses on the destruction of Palestinian culture with.interviews from survivors on both sides as well as interviews from English soldiers.
