Their album was released in January 2021 and is called "Girl's Reform Manifest". It is truly the best thing I've heard or bought all year. It is fresh, it is fun, it is a terrific blend of styles and they have a decent mix of all of that on their album. Buy it, you'll thank me later.
I dunno if you got the lyrics up, but best I can tell the song's about sugar addiction - being reliant on the hit of sweet things to lift their mood and help them concentrate, and worrying about what that's doing to them. Without knowing or speaking the language it can come across as cutesy - especially when you hear sweets being listed in English, but not the darker "my drug: sugar addiction, mind comeback, changing vision" bit before it. It's neat and I like that there's depth to it, even if I don't understand most of it, y'know?
I’ve never heard of this group before and given the song name, I was soooo not expecting that sound to come out of my tv when it started haha. I’m not mad about it.
Yukina is pretty awesome, but she is certainly not the first one. Also check out Broken by the Scream and bands like Galmet and MergingMoon, among others.
@@adamazri928 Nemophila have Mayu - she’s pretty damn awesome and, like Hanabie, Nemophila are current and fresh and innovative. Check them out, Dissension would be a good start.
Yukina is a beast, she do rap, Scream, growl, anime voice, and little bit clean vocal. Kyo from dir en grey is my favorite male Japan metal vocalist, yukina my favorite as female Japan metal vocalist
I've just found out about this band and loved it. and then I came here right away just to confirm that the best metal reaction channel had already made a video reaction to it haha
Fantastic band and song! If you're interested in checking out more of their stuff their other official MV's are (in chronological order): Envy L.C.G Reiwa Dating Apps Generation They're all well worth checking out and all pretty unique and crazy in their own way! If you want another suggestion may I suggest taking a look at another awesome Japanese band called Gacharic Spin? They're very different from Hanabie but they're so creative and cool. Their most recent MV is for their track "I Wish I" and it's a real musical journey, their other recent MV "MindSet" is like a funk-prog-pop-rock mash up and it's not only an awesome catchy track but a real show of technical accomplishment as well.
Amazing, Great find! I've never heard of them before. But i like it a lot. I'll definitely add some of their songs to my playlist with other Asian bands. Like the Japanese Band-Maid, Coldrain, the Korean band Diablo and the Mongolian band The HU. I think Hanabie will be a great addition to that list :D
Hanabie are very good and original there first album is the definition of heavy .Do more of them they like having fun as well .Another superb new band is Nemophila just pop there name in YT search bar and see the hits come up .
In the beginning you said "as a thanks to you", but then you rather felt like "Thank You dear donators" right? 😂 btw this group uploaded a new video 11 days ago - お先に失礼します is the title
Actually I like your reaction Paledusk, Hanabie ・・・Tokyo rock scene is worth to pay attention from all over the world. I hope Eskimo Callboy would find them.
PLEASE VACATION IN JAPAN SOON AND VLOG THE MUSIC SCENE AT NIGHT. VLOG SOME OF THE CULTURE AND FOOD SCENE FOR LUNCH MAYBE? I WANT TO SEE THE JWOMEN STARING AND SMILING AT YOU GUYS HA HA.
Disclaimer: not comparing: I do not like babymetal, I LOVE this band, they actually play their own instruments, something just feels more legitimate and less commercial and still wacky in the best possible way. Love Hannabie
