We were at Oahu a couple weeks ago and planned to snorkel Hanauma Bay, but instead went Electric Beach and Sharks Cove. I swam with a turtle there and saw 4’ long Trumpetfish and Corronet fish. There were far more fish at Sharks Cove than at any other place I’ve went or seen videos of, and it’s free, and close easy parking. Take the $53 you’d spend at Hanauma Bay and instead use it at the Sharks Cove food trucks.
Thanks for sharing. I've been to Hanauma bay multiple time when the fish were everywhere. And one time it totally sucked. I'm not sure why. Generally Hanauma is better because the fish there aren't afraid of people like they are other places but the other beaches you mentioned are great too.
