Awesome. I taught this to my friends at a field trip once, and they enjoyed it so much. We even made it into a two player hand game where two people clap each of there hands together in this pattern. So addicting!!!
I am a grandma and was looking for videos to re-learn old and learn new hand clapping games to share with my grandchildren. I wanted to show my granddaughter some of the things I used to do to keep from being bored. These videos are great. Thank you so much for sharing.
Omg i kept doing this at school and then i was like i need to find more hand clapping games then i found you girls and have already learned "Bim bum bitty bum" and "boom snap clap" its an addication now 0.o you can also sing this with Sevens to help you remeber the steps "its not hard i tell you soo... I know some cool hand games! A, B, C (What they did with the together hand slap Hit it! (Same thing, then the crawling up) That's the way (Uh huh, uh huh) I like it (uh huh uh huh) (Instead of the fists me and my friend slap our hands together like a clap twice) Grease hair (Hand motion showing our hair from our head to shoulders) Brick wall (Cross hands and make a straight line) Waterfall (Just go down like they did) Girl, you think you know it all (Point) But you don't (Cross hands and do the same with the brick wall but a bit edgier) I do (Point to myself) So poof with the attitude! (Make your hands pop like popcorn, opening fingers) Bang bang, Choo Choo train! (2 fists at a flex with your arm like you're pulling a train handle hanging from the ceiling) Wind me up, I'll do my thang [Supposed to be spelled like that] (One finger tornado motion) Reeces Pieces (Put one hand out flat then the other) Buttercup (Tilt head once to right then left) Mess with me I'll mess you up (Point to myself then up) And I know two others, but one is complicated to put in typing. I can try. This one is best for younger kids. (Clap three times) Lemonade! (Clap three times) Crunchy ice! Get down (Touch the ground) Spin around (Spin) Jump up (Jump) FREEZE! (Stop on one foot. First to put foot down loses.) This one requires your middle finger and ring finger to be touching the thumb. Happy llama (Put your first and pinkie finger up and have the in between fingers meet your thumb, like a dog) Sad llama (Put your pinkie and index finger down like sad ears) Mentally-disturbed llama (Wave the pinkie and index finger, one up, then the other up, one down, then the other down, like that until you stop saying it) Super llama (Make a flying motion with the happy llama) Drama llama (Make your other hand into a happy llama and look at the other one) Big, fat mamma llama (Put hands together, with thumbs and only pinkie fingers go up) Baby llama (Put all fingers down, as if rubbing something between your fingers and thumb) Dolphin llama (Make happy llama swim up and down like a dolphin) Crazy llama (Shake happy llama side to side) Party llama (Shake happy llama up to down) Elvis llama (Make happy llama talk by lifting middle and ring fingers and putting them back to the thumb over and over) Don't forget Barrack 'O' Llama! (Take your other hand in a fist and put it on the back of your other hand [Happy llama], like a snail or turtle shell) Moose Chicken! (But hands as if antlers above your head and wave your fingers, then bend your elbows, making it look like your fists are going into your armpits.) I suggest you check out Sally was a baby/Pebbles was a baby, Sevens, Boom Snap Clam, Bim Bum, The Cup Song, Tic Tac Toe game, and more if you can think of some fun ones. You're welcome if this helped anybody!
@EricGreenop Yah sure. I'd video tape it but I'm stuck at work so I can't. I'll use "slap" to mean the slap on the table, clap and snap are obviously clap and snap. The rhythms these girl use are the ones I use, just in a little different order. The first three are right. Then the fourth one that I use is slap-clap-snap-clap-snap-clap-slap. Then I do the fourth one (which would be my fifth one) that they use. The sixth one is a little complicated. Slap the table
I love this game but its not the usual usual way i play it but still great! But ive been trying to get part 0:15-0:20 for like 30 seconds lol ... i think i got it now :)
Sure ill try to make it with my friend next week. And if not by then ill do it by the end of this week.(its generally the same but we might add a little something).
