FAQs??
-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How much yarn do I need?
Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.
-What equipment do you use?
Camera: amzn.to/2jkNDl2
Tripod: amzn.to/2w4ReK8
Ring Light: amzn.to/2w4vrC7

Wow, I have never seen this yarn worked into anything before. Just the final piece don't in pictures. I think you did an excellent job of showing me how it is used. It looks so wonderful and so fluffy. Thank you for making this tutorial. Very well done. I must say, love the color you used here as well. Beautiful!

Do not do this. This is not yarn. It's roving. It has no structure and won't last. Don't waste your money and let resources that go into making the roving. Also if there's a 'special discount code' is this video #sponsored

So I've been watching a ton of these vids, I dropped quite a bit of money on some very nice chunky yarn and have found myself not staring due to fear of screwing it up! I found your vid today and can say I'm going to start my blanket now as I feel very comfortable doing it along with this great educational vid! Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us how to do this craft, I appreciate it immensely and your instructions are crystal clear! Thanks again, I've found my new favorite channel!!🤗

@@rrhopewell ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DroelB2uwx4.html the unspun yarn (roving) is very fragile and will quickly deteriorate, catches all the hair and stuff lying around, and the roving can be quite expansive. Someone also reported that trying to wash it in the washing machine broke the machine because of all the loose hair, and even if it doesn't break the machine, this type of unspun wool felts very easily

Thanks. I didn’t know all that. Plus i looked at the price and it was way to expensive. I have 10 grandkids. 4 of them are 15 to 25 yrs of age so it would cost a fortune. Can you suggest a cheaper alternative that is thick. It don’t have to be that thick but something close.

Great video. However, for folk with smaller balls of yarn, i wish you would have included how to start on another ball. I am now stuck and having to find another video that will help with the transition, which is not on you. That's on me lol. If you can respond with the how to, that will be great. If not, thanks again. The video was still helpful. Maybe a warning to those, in the beginning, letting folk know that its only for a huge ball of yarn would help others in the future .

Ok, so I heard that type of yarn is not very good for blankets because it's more like wool and it will sort of start tearing apart. Also, I think that it is not good for warmth or washing machines. Again I don't know if this is completely true I'm just warning if this is wrong please correct me.

As an avid knitter, I am going to say this because I want what is best for everyone: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE UNSPUN ROVING YARN TO MAKE BLANKETS! Yarn is spun to make it tougher, so it doesn’t fall apart. Unspun yarn, as Bella said, is DELICATE, it’s gonna brake. Making it into a blanket gives it a bit more strength, but not much. It’s gonna catch dirt a lot more quickly, it’s gonna get messy and ugly, and if you have pets, it’s gonna get wrecked. There is a PSA by these two knitters on RU-vid that show you why you shouldn’t do this, the link is below. Please don’t use unspun roving yarn unless you plan to spin it to make a tougher yarn, use it to line the inside of mittens aka thrumming or felting. It will not be worth it in the long run if you use it to make a blanket. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DroelB2uwx4.htmlsi=rq79DUTLtq4FbIW1
