the funny thing is I had to go in the water to unhook a wire line stuck to the transducer underneath the boat🤣🤣we typically don't mess with you unless you have a fish or something shiny hanging off of you🫣
I know right what a beast 😲 Much love brother you are a rock for us, please know that 💕 It is so crazy the way life brings people off the same mindset together! Your efforts mean the world to us, thank you Lance!!
@@joeporter4920oh you definitely can it’s just that the bigger ones can contain a common toxin in their meet from their reef fish diet but at the end of the day any fish can have it. People recommend keeping ones bout half that size maybe smaller considering that’s a huge cuda, they actually have really white firm meet.
When i was diving in the red sea, my buddy started to freak out and tried to speed swim to the surface, i looked at the direction he was looking at, and i saw three barracudas parallel ontop of eachother and the scariest part they weren't swimming, they were just floating in place like they were frozen. The one in the middle had huge teeth coming out. Thank god tho they didn't react to us.
Much admiration and respect for letting that innocent living creature return to his daily activities. Many fools keep their catch up on deck till all their friends see it on their phones, causing the fish to suffer, agonize and begin to go into a preliminary state of shock . We dont see it, we dont notice nor feel it , but the sure do. Just for that, I symbolically toss you a cold one of your choice .
That’s not how gills work, it’s not like a frog who breathes through a barrier in its skin and suffocates when dirt or oils block it. He may have damaged the gills by handling the fish like that, but they will heal and be just fine.
That is a dangerous fish. My friend who is a boat hull cleaner didn’t remove her gold on her arm and got mauled by a 3 ft one had to get 20 surgeries. Imagine that one. She would have no arm !!!!!
@@marcodepellegrin2814 they can carry ciguatera which is a toxin that they get from eating reef fish! So we avoid eating the big ones anything over 42 inches we usually throw them back! not kill you but you wish you were dead 🤣
The real thing don't do the trick, no? You better make up something quick You gonna burn, burn, burn, burn, burn it to the wick Oh, Barra-Barracuda, yeah
I would like ask a very genuine question. Whenever it comes to catching monstrous fish like these, aside from telling everyone "hey i did it!" as what was proven with this video, why do people feel the need to take things further? Set aside the people who fish for food, that isn't what I am speaking about.
I was fishing for food but that barracuda ate my fish and got hooked so I got him in and let him go. Most people would have killed it for food or bait.
Why are so many anglers also animal abusers? Doesn't the guy realize what he's doing to the fish? If you catch a fish, you have to kill it as quickly and painlessly as possible! What's more, this abnormal grip on the gills of such a heavy fish is certainly a gruesome ordeal. It's a shame that people are like that :-((
@@vanderbaanswildlife No, I'm rather poor and live in Germany. That's why I've never seen a real Barracuda. Nevertheless, I am aware that such a bite is very dangerous. In any case: catch the fish and kill it IMMEDIATELY. Don't tear it out of its habitat and then proudly hold it up to the camera. The fish is in mortal fear!
