I've made a few small embroideries in my day but nothing like this. I think part of the talent here is knowing what color to use and what shade to use to make the depth of each petal. I would have to be very aware of what shade is coming up in the strand I am using. That's a lot of thinking, planning ahead. If it came out wrong, I'd rip it all out and start over. Let's see, it's June 2023 now. If I was going to make one for Christmas I better hurry up and get started. Beautiful !!

OMG you are so talented its amazing.. and i love to watch your videos because i learn so much and it relaxes me and inspire me to start to embroide my self. So i have started to buy some silk, a few colors at the time until i have a nice collection when i start.. in the mean time i bought some cross-stitch kits to get to know how to work with threads.. soon i will make my own first embroidery in silk my self..
