Thank you! I've watched so many videos trying to understand how to make a blanket and this is the only one that made sense to me. You explained it so clearly and simply and showed it well
This tutorial is awesome!! I had never even knit anything before. I made this blanket in about 2 1/2 hrs and it turned out perfect. Thanks so much for the amazing instructions. I will be making another one soon!!
You are a goddess! I had no idea I could be capable of making this on my own, because of your patient explanation of how to do it it worked! Thank you so much
I have to tell you that I made about ten of these blankets in December to give as Christmas gifts. Everyone loves them. I'm so grateful for your tutorial which enabled me to make them. ❤
Hello Oh my goodness, I’m so delighted that l stumbled across your Channel! I don’t know how to Knit or Crochet “Properly”... Although, l did make several “Knitted” Beanies/Caps using a “round plastic Loom”. This type is “Knitting” is Right up my ally! You made is look extremely simple and you’re a wonderful instructor! I’m definitely going to try making some of these gorgeous blankets for my grandkids and myself too! I read your bio off of your homepage and decided to follow you on Instagram and TikTok too! Thank you so very much! ♥️👵🏻👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I could never get crocheting compute in my head. However this channel has the easiest, most understandable and clear instructions in their videos I have ever encountered. Tails and working ends 😊 I think I’m gonna place an order soon
I've watched multiple tutorials on how to make these but praise God I found yours and it finally made sense. I just finished my first one and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much and God bless you 🙏 🤍

@@joblack9206 Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Amazon, there are so many places just search it in Google! Edit: If you get it from becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn it is really cheap!
Great job!!!! You explained beautiful and you actually showed us how to finish the blanket as oppose to just the how to start part. Thank you so very much! 😊
I absolutely love this tutorial! I arm knitted a blanket before, but I didn't love it as much as this. My arms are just too fat to arm knit and the stitches end up being too big lol. This was way easier and so much prettier. Thank you!
I’m so regretting buying the yarn I’m using right now! I love yours so much more! You just got a new buyer and I have tons of blankets to make! Do you think you will ever carry a nude/blush type of color?
I'm going to learn to crochet,My Mom did and tried to teach me but I just couldn't get it.. I have a blanket she made and now that she's passed and it's very important and it means allot to me.. I want to learn so I can make one for my kids..
Well, I made it through!! And I did pretty "yarn" well 😅😉 Even if my back is killing me LOL 🙄😅 My yarn was completely different...like a very soft fluffy wool (all I had at home), next time I try this kind of yarn and at least I have some practice now!! Got a question though. How come mine Only show the yarn cables on the frontside and not backside??! Is it maybe because I didn't go through the loop Twisted??
Hi! I loved your video! It was super easy to follow and very detailed. I just have a question.. how many balls of yarn did you use? I'm planning on making a small blanket.
Don’t know if the quality of this chenille is the same, but I bought 2 jumpers years ago and it didn’t wash well. It left big patches where the material came out.
Hello, I just subscribed to your channel....I love your in depth videos on how to make chunky blankets. I am new to this and would like to try my first one, I’d like to know how to determine how much yarn I’d need for a specific size and how to determine how long my first chain needs to be to get a certain size? Thank you
Hello, glad you like our videos! You can see how many skeins needs to be purchased at the description for the chunky and jumbo chenille o our website: becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn. The description also has the information on how to calculate the amount of stitches to start
I’ve tried literally everything never understood how anyone else explains it except her, thank you Jesus for making this simple enough for me , forever grateful
Hi, thank you for these instructions! Great tutorial!! Question on your wool hanging in the back on the wall! Absolutely beautiful, did you make that? Do you have a video on how to do so? Didn’t see one on your channel, do you have instructions?! Would love to tackle something like that next!
Here is a video showing how to make a Jumbo chenille blanket in stripes with even rows: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5o2yr1ieklk.html
Who do you combat against forgetting where to put your hands cuz it is all the same color so it blends? For instance the purple color. I can’t really see what I am doing.
Please help me with my questions. First you’ve been a great help, especially explaining how many lengths of the chenille needed to cast off at the end. However, I do not know how many loops I need to make for a queen size blanket with the measurements of 90x88” with the smaller chenille you had shown at the beginning of this video. It’s half the size of the one you used here. In addition, what is the reason why you flip the blanket after the very first row? I have also seen people not flip it and go to the second or third loop on the second row. Is there a reason why you go directly to the first loop? I’d really appreciate any of your help. Thank you for a great video, it was a big help to me.
Hello, thank you for watching our videos. For smaller chenille - chunky chenille - we have different videos. You can find it on our RU-vid channel: ru-vid.com. Click on Videos to see all videos or enter How to make a blanket with chunky chenille yarn - and you will see all videos for chunky chenille yarn. The width of a blanket for chunky chenille yarn is calculated by diving the width by 1.8. I do not flip a blanket, not sure what you mean. I am making a chain and then out the first row and then hand knit from side to side.
The stitches need to be knitted smaller, this way the blanket will be knitted tighter and more dense. You will need more yarn for knitting tighter: 1-2 skeins more
Hi..I just watched another of your videos with this jumbo yarn..in the other video you said I needed 6 skeins for a 35x60 inch blanket..in this video you said I need 3 skeins. Please clairfy..so I know how many JUMBO skeins I need. Thank you!
i was doing this but mine was fuzzy(really fuzzy) and the same brand but it wasnt that helpful Edit: sorry i said that i need to correct it lol because i went to another vid came back and understood thx so much i love you thx th thx
Fabulous video I thought you said you need five or six balls of chenille and I didn’t see you integrate any balls into each other how do you start a new ball?
Dawn, I am showing how to connect the balls inside the video: making a simple knot and then make sure it very tight. Then cut the ends of the yarn close to the knot
Around 3:53 she shows how to connect two different yarn pieces. Though she does it with one short yarn piece. Just imagine it's two different yarns connecting.
I was looking at this yarn on your website, and I was a bit confused on the "lower quality" chenille yarn. Why are some colors considered "lower quality"?
This yarn is the best for baby blankets! Three skeins needed for a 25x30 inches baby blanket. Find it here: becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn
Until I use all seven skeins of Jumbo chenille yarn from becozi.net. I knit a bit looser, many people knit a bit tighter, so a number of rows might be different.
