The way I did it was attach the front and back panels, put sleeve next to slip stitch the inside of arm using one stitch to slip through. I tied a piece of yarn at the top of the sleeve and bottom so I knew to stop. This is literally my first time knitting also. I say get your favorite big Jack and take the measurements from that. RU-vid another video on how to attach sleeves there’s an few

I’m currently currently making an in-depth tutorial on how I did it from start to finish, but as for the lantern sleeve, you want to measure your wrist and then make the chain as long as your wrist. As for the lantern sleeve, I’m going to be, including how I did it in the upcoming tutorial that I’ll be posting

I’ll redo an in depth tutorial but just a suggestion: I would go based off a sweater I already had and then I measured the length of my arms and back so as I hand knit I was measuring to make sure it was the correct size
