You are an advanced wood worker. I also make the wood spring tongs but I keep the center leg and I glue on contrasting wood pieces on the end. It takes longer for the glue to set up but when it sets up I sand the ends smooth. Like and subscribed
Really great idea👍, I might have problems to get hickory here where I live but ash wood has long fibres too and could be another way to go, I'll keep that in mind for a future project, and If you don't mind I'll link to your video, when I make it on my channel.
