That's a good question, I have been wondering the same for some time, and I could only come up with a pseudo reason: either he is not completely aware of himself or we will get more of his story later But that's my theory
@@LeftForNova Chances are that - at this point - he knows he's on a loop. He admits it was more fun crawling around the sewers so he figures if he's on this loop, he can just fight for sport without any real consequence. He knows keeping quiet lets him get away with stuff like this... that or somehow he lost his tongue in the true king ending.
Come to think about it, the base of the game is ass nature of king taking physical form in many aspects. Nice, we were the bad guy all along. At least he's fun.
Well at start he thinks like that, and with the white king outfit, it is even better, the queen also recognises you (and the collector also, but spoiler)

@@GHyze He was probably an ass even before he became a blob. As for killing his original body, I believe he forgot he was the king until he possesed back his body.
Well there are two main theoryes: - if you actually are the King, the HotK was protecting the king body on the throne and when he encounteres you with the king body (after you reset the timeline) he checks the throne for the king corpse and he suspects that you are not the king - if you are not the actual King but an experiment (as suggested in the DLC) then he would have more reason to believe that you possessed the king corpse... Either way he checks the throne and you several times indicating that he is not entirely sure of what happened

You are the king and you can possess the king body (hence get your body back) after you kill the collector and the time keeper reset the time (making the king respawn on the throne) P.s. you have to use homunculus rune to possess the king body DO NOT KILL HIM or you have to kill collector again

@dawoodsafdar4885 well to be honest it's not entirely clear what the malaise was and how it spread, so I doubt that we could come up with a reasonable plan... But exterminating the population (the king solution) hardly seems a foolhardy plan 🤣🤣
@@LeftForNova yea it's confirmed, the giant confirms it So does the beheaded when you possess the king, he says "my body has been well preserved" The same is with the queen, the one we fight is the homunculus of the queen which has taken control of her original body just like the king does

Basically it's from 2 years ago, also this does not confirm you are the king, as a matter of fact *SPOILER* (in the fatal falls dlc there is an outfit that would suggest otherwise) Also my channel focus is on the discovery of the various interaction and tutorial on how to get the newest thing in the newest patch. @@LeftForNova i mean it is a spoiler if you didnt know that the beheaded was the king or even for people who didnt know the final boss, or pretty much anything about the lategame, and i mean even if it is 2 years old itd still be a spoiler since people still play this game and not everyone finished it yet

@@LeftForNova It is a clear spoiler... HAND OF THE KING, implying someone who directly does stuff for the king... that outfit is the king's outfit, and the king is missing from the seat. Those are pretty big spoilers no matter how hard you try to say it isn't... and the thumbnail shows it. Rather then trying to defend yourself saying it isn't a spoiler or you're not at fault... just accept it. You shouldn't have to defend if something isn't a spoiler... that would be clear in of itself. If you have to... something is clearly wrong with it not spoiling things. Be mature about this, don't let pride control you.
You have never ever played this game, have you? Hand of the king is the name of the boss, that has been in the game for many many many years... Should I not say the name of the first boss as well because it might be a spoiler for a new player? Are you completely insane? Still how do you know it's the king outfit? You have to have a prior knowledge of it... Also I corrected you because I like my comment section to be clear and without any misunderstanding, and if you don't like my video or content it's ok, but don't try to spin it saying it's a fucking spoiler I was the first one to post the true true ending, and nobody complained about it, and in all the years I can remember only 2 times that someone complained about a spoiler Be mature and accept that a 2 years old video, featuring a boss that has been around for years is not a spoiler I would also suggest that if you dislike spoilers so much, to not click on videos that hint to interaction that you do not already know ;)
