Thank you for showing your process. Glass painting is so closely guarded it's hard to learn outside of a master- apprentice scenario. I've done cut and colored glass work. But trying to truly learn glass staining and painting is hard on your own. Thank you very much.
This was such a beautiful project! I love the elegant way you used all different clear transparent & textured glasses here. It really pulls the focus to the pet image. Very nice job!
Thanks so much for sharing this. If you don't mind my asking, at about 3:35 you are using a brush to do what looks like some stippling to soften the edges. Can you tell me please what brush that is?
The paint is removed when it is dry. And yes the glass is fired between each coat. The old masters could lay down three layers at a time for one firing, but I am not at that skill level yet. Maybe one day...
