Anna, I have to tell you.......when I'm all strung out and stressed, your voice and videos are so calming. Helps me escape. You're such a calming influence. Love ya, Sweetie. 😘❤️
Couldn 't agree with Coleen more, your videos are so entertaining and soothing, a balm in stressing times. You have such a good natured way about you, so natural ... an absolute pleasure, many thanks!
Anna, thank you for sharing your videos. I watch them when having coffee in the morning and it is great start to my day. Especially the videos with Jen Kingwell. Wonderful.
I’m about three hours south of you....my bestest friend works at the little grocery shop there..it used to be next to a gift shop..that is no longer there..she worked at the gift shop too....a very sweet lady..her name is melody..if you ever get there..🌸🌼🌻🐝🐝🐝
How I miss Sisters, OR everytime I turn on your vlog!! But, I so enjoy your downhome comfort I feel I am called to watch. And, happy I am. I also love your clamshell quilt. I should start one just to hand quilt in the evenings while we are watching t.v. I also, very much envy that view of the street you have out your window. And, I do miss listening to those frogs when I was a young girl living in Seattle with the big water tower in our back yard!! Memories!! Also, by the way, I think you keep your quilt room very neat!! I love it very much. Thank you for having us to your home most weeks when you then have us to your home-on-the-road!! Peace and blessings, Vicki
I understand your longing...I have a small wall hanging by Valori Wells in my dining room because it reminds me of the acres of vegetable fields when I was growing up...the dew on the lettuce was like jewels. Thank you for hanging out with me 😀
Anna, thank you for sharing. Oh, I got that iron. I had the other one with 2 pointed ends but the steam wasn't very good. So I gifted that to a fellow stitcher along with some other extras. This one has steam! I adore it. I'm like you, need lots of steam. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, Pea
Enjoyed your video. Your camping trip looked wonderful. And the butterfly - amazing. Matter-of-fact, I’m in my trailer at Bodega Bay, CA watching your video. The fog came in this evening, so too cold for a fire tonight! Thanks for sharing!
Really liked this video about hand piecing ♥ It is relaxing and a great way to live in the moment. The hot springs look like a super spot to camp for a few days with G and your hand stitching project :) Looking forward to your next video. I agree 100% what Carola had to say!!! Jen Kingwell's book looks wonderful...lots of fun! I really like her pattern My Small World!! Thank you soooooo much for all of your videos, Anna and G. You are ALWAYS so much fun to watch!! Really enjoyed the music too ♥
I have that book but have not made any projects yet. Maybe when I finish a few of my UFO's! LOL. Beautiful serene scenery. Thank you for taking us along. See you in the next video.
Loved visiting you again Anna ...I feel like I’m really there with you and actually find myself nodding to you 😂. Yahoooo for finding that book 😂🤣 love 💗😍 the pillow pattern....what a clever idea using a photo.. thank you for the amazing scenery shots 😘
Hi Anna! I don’t think I have the patience for hand stitching actual fabric but I do hand stitching in other crafts. I love that you make a mistake and don’t edit it out of the video because believe me, I can relate lol. Love the peaceful scenes at Belknap, hubby liked that too! Take care, hope you have great travels ahead. 🏜🗺
Dear Anna, thank you for sharing a hand piecing project of manageable scope for viewers like me who haven’t ventured there yet. Hope you brought along the darling stitching pillow you made in another video. Congrats on finding your pattern book in time for your trip; have you considered taping a ziplock bag inside the book to hold your pattern pieces? P.S. The thumbnail for this video made you look like a cute mouse, when the head of a pin was at the end of your nose!
Could you be any more chilled? You are adorable and not alone when it comes to misplacing things when you are working on a project! (I blame it on my kitty-of course you could ask Enzo if he knows anything-he looks so sweet and innocent just lying there on the floor of the bee-hive, but it could all be an act!! haha) You're not getting older but better and more experienced. The campsite is just beautiful and should relax you even more. Enjoy your quilting hauls and reviews of shops so much, but the scenery is great too. Have fun!
I am wondering if a puzzle mat would work so you could roll it, (although it won't leave your prepared pieces completely flat) would work...maybe not, but since it's going to be a pillow, perhaps so...just thinking, although that can be dangerous...LOL.
The camp grounds are so beautiful , and peaceful , wish I were there .You were talking about your design wall , and awhile back you had a Halloween peice you made into a wall hanging , Would you know who's pattern that was ? Could that have been a Buttermilk basin pattern ? I just love that pattern !!!
So fun to watch your videos...😊 I think your pincushion is a hedgehog..heehee.......you’re so lucky..frog sounds....I’m jealous..I don’t think I have brain capacity for hand stitching anymore..lol...when’s your birthday?...welcome to Medicare..heeheheee
Welcome to the Medicare club! Joined that club last year! Lol! There are several Jen Kingwell patterns I like. Maybe next hand sewing project will be one of hers.
Anna you are such a joy to watch. Your enthusiasm is contagious! I am just starting to quilt and hand piece. Could you please tell me the thread and needle you are using? Thank you so much!
Thank you! I use a hand Appliqué needle and usually use regular Cotton thread to match the fabric or sometimes I will use silk thread...also matching the fabric.
You are a hoot Anna.....I want to be like you when I grow up....ha..actually I would love to meet you; hopefully someday as we pass thru Sisters on our way to and from the coast to our home in Colorado.
Hola!! Siempre me ha dado miedo cuando hay que coser curvas, pero ver como lo hace usted parece tan facil...... lo intentare. Siento que se haya cancelado la media maraton. Me encanta el entorno del campamento , que paz ....
😂 I tell my husband when my Joann’s alerts go off that Joann’s such a loyal friend and doesn’t let me miss a sale. 😂🤣. I love you and your videos and have been binge watching. 😊❤️ Does your travels ever include traveling to Paducah Ky. for the AQS show? I usually get to go to that one. Hugs, Paige 😊
Another fun video Anna, you always keep it real! Do you take some locking stitches when you do a seam? I take one every four or five stitches when I hand piece. The Springs look lovely I'm sure you had a lovely time when you were there. Looking forward to your next video.
The first quilt class I took the teacher had us hand stitch everything . Both she and Sarah Fielke recommend doing them. Enjoy the clear air in Portland.
Hi Anna ~ I'm in love with the Bee wall quilt you have hanging on the door of the hive. Can you point me in the direction of the pattern. I'm a "bee" girl too!
Oh....I wish I could but my girlfriend Robin made it for me and she made it up...no pattern. I do know that she found the Bee on the internet and embroidered it...me...I need a pattern.
I tried sewing curved pieces one time, my brain would not accept what my eyes were seeing. LOL It just looked wrong when pinning it together. Almost drove me crazy. LOL
I think we all put things up and then cant find them....lol i got a small little light that clamps to my machine....do you think I can find the plug? Nope....lol
What is miler? I need it. Please lmk where you purchase it or how? I have been sewing 30 years and i have heard the word miler? But never new what it was.
I'm constantly searching for stuff and I hate it. I'm sorry it took me so long but I finally sent you a box...Just Bee-cause. It does show it was delivered today so I hope when you pick it up, you enjoy what I sent. "Your item has been delivered to an agent at 7:41 am on May 4, 2018"
OMG!!!! the postal service does not deliver to my home and so I have to pick up my mail in town which I do every so often...bad mama...anyhoo last night Wes texted me I had a package and I ran right down...OMG!!! You are sooo sweet and I had so much fun opening all the little packages which is documented for the next video :) by the way...you have gorgeous handwriting!...and I LOVED it all...was like Christmas in May!
I started out by crocheting the flowers but then decided to add a few things. Then I took my dog for her chemo treatment and they had the wrist bands for a foster group they work with, if you donated and decided to send you a couple-can't leave G out for all the work he does on the videos. Enjoy them, we enjoy your videos.
