Glad I could help. Hpa on the outside appears complex and more dangerous but there are many safeties built in. Reality is i think co2 is more dangerous as it can be unpredictable at times.
Nice demonstration my friend. I used a pump for my PCP ca 20 years ago. I struggled to get over 150 BAR in it. I think pumps are of better quality today and maybe easiyer to pump. Cheers
Most are a bit easier now but there are still some doozies being sold cheap. These days i use compressor too but keep a hand pump as back up if the world ends. 🧟♀️
LoL,. Yup! . I'm getting one of these, too. Any more than a 3 gage or higher . Good investment non the less. Another great video, brother. Don't die! We need ya around! lol 🇺🇲🤜💥🤛🇺🇲
LOL i bought one of these for $50-60. They actually work. But the reality is, after pumping a few times, the juice will no longer be worth the squeeze. I'm 5'11 190 and I found it extremely hard to pump past 3000 psi for my 4500 hpa tanks. Like the byrna this hand pump served as a gateway to better things because now I just use electric. The hand pump can still serve as a back up in case you have no power.
Great analogy. I would definitely pass on hand pumping a 4500psi tank. Most of these hand pumps are only good to 3000 any how which i neglected to mention. Braver man then I.
Just learned a few things and was wondering if you have a special place you like to get valves I want something around the 2200psi out, I was looking at a 13ci tank then I saw this video and thought I like this way better, I want to couple this with my 2240 hpa build
Finding high pressure 1200+ output pcp regs are not that common state side. The only one that comes to mind is the Ninja Flex regulator, otherwise Aliexpress will have any pressure regulator under the moon including adjustable ones.
Make sure to bottom out the pump piston on both up stroke and downstroke. If you don't you lose 80% of efficiency, you are just bouncing piston on an air pocket.
Yes i did mention full complete strokes otherwise you are just wasting energy. Most of the actual compression is at the bottom 1” or so but not fully extending the stroke also just waste time as you are not grabbing enough air.
Wont catch me pumping a 68. I aint that spry anymore. 😂 I started with an oil less compressor that lasted a year. I have since moved onto a Yonger and it rips….13ci 45sec flat.
i got same bottle know is yours 1000 psi out put got a new 3 stage pump the vevor ones are decent tbf i lubed all the seals an put plumers tape on threads no leaks so quite happy with it an pumps quick tbf compared to last cheap one way better quality
I'll stick to my compressor I have a pump but after using it a couple times I started looking at other options namely a compressor it's a good backup system for a power outage or if we go to war lol
Have you had any issues with the foster fitting not locking up on the full nipple? I’m having this issue on my pepperball 13 ci and first strike 10 ci hpa bottles but the foster fitting secures with the fill nipple on my ninja hpa tank.
On my newest FS regulator that has an external hex drive nipple…yes the QD bottoms out on the hex before locking. Most annoying if you ask me. It’s easy enough to swap to a different nipple but a hassle and small expense none the less. The FS nipple in this video was the old internal allen key style and i never had a problem. They ceased production of these because apparently if you torqued them too tight the allen drive breaks, fractures the nipple and makes them damn near impossible to remove at that point.
@Less Lethal for Dummies thanks again man I got chills when I heard my name such a cool dude u could've been like fuk that kid but u didn't u kept it real💯💪🏼
Hi Sean. Have you looked into the 9ci tanks from Grimburg and if so, do you know if they are easy to modify upwards from 850 psi? It looks like they are using a Ninja regulator. Also, as a single marker owner that is thinking about moving to an air tank, like the 9ci size, any opinions on using a hand pump vs. a cheap pcp air compressor? Thanks!
I have a few 9ci and 10ci tanks. Changing the output isnt difficult at all but you need the correct shims for that particular regulator being used. Approx 220 strokes to fill with a hand pump. Nothing wrong with hand pumping but if you encounter an issue, air empties fast and then you got to start over. 😢
@@lesslethalfordummies thanks Sean. Most appreciated. I don’t have the interest or desire to pick up one of those Yong Heng compressors and I am fearful that the smaller compressors will crap out. Whereas the hand pump has less parts and in the end, I would only be filling a 9ci tank.
@ChrisC-cb6rz if you reach out to Grimburg they may be able to adjust the output pressure for your purchase. Never hurts to ask. I understand not needing a compressor, but even a good hand pump can be more than half the cost of a compressor.
@@lesslethalfordummies as always….awesome advice. The order had already been processed for shipment. Once it arrives, I will take a closer look at the actual regulator (the rep did not know which Ninja regulator is attached). The point I intended to make about the cheap compressor vs. hand pump was more about which one would last longer, not the price. You are right about hand pumps….some of them are definitely pricy. My thought process is to invest in a decent quality hand pump vs throwing money at a compressor that may or may not last.
@@ChrisC-cb6rzyou will have to check whats inside the regulator when it arrives. Ninja either uses a spring or bellevue washers. The inexpensive oilless compressors do work well for limited use and may not be a bad option for your frequency of usage. I would suggest one from Amazon Prime that can be returned easily should it be a dud. If you choose a hand pump look for minimum 3 stage pump.
the VEVOR 3-stage hand crank pump with high quality 301 stainless steel, crank pump 4500 psi (0-30 MPa), PCP Air Gun Rifle, PCP pump with pressure measurement range: 0-5800 psi (0-40 MPa) has it allready adapter for filling 13ci tank?
Hello brorher i got my self a brand new valken today i shot 2 times .68 rubber defence bullet cant pull the trigger neither change safety mode why can that be?
@@DripMoneyjewelry1rubber balls have a tendency to jam the marker. If the safety is stuck you need to loosen and remove the sling ring screw just behind the grip. Pull down slightly on the grip and you should hear the bolt reset and your fire selector should regain use. If you experience a jam do not safety the launcher rather unscrew and completely degas the launcher.
@@lesslethalfordummies thank you! i will just try to advertise it back but thank you! its to much work i need it for defence i cant rely on this crap🫶🏽
@lesslethalfordummies Thank you! I just picked up a TRP Carbine with a short 8 inch Rifled Barrel and wanting to make up for the loss and a consistent 65 + Joules. Waiting to see what you do with the Sicariis!
I cant stress enough shimming your own bottles can be somewhat dangerous if you dont know what you are doing. There are safety features built into the bottle but should something malfunction 💥. Most paintball marker are at least tested to 1100psi max by the manufacturer. Just be mindful of the firing pin sending higher than normal pressure into the FS markers.
If search around at some of the lesser known online shops you might find one. They were discontinued. Grimburg sells a 9ci version though which is even a little more compact.
