Hi Shantel, it is a wheat starch glue that you mix. I use a version called pure methyl cellulose. Unlike regular wheat starch paste, it is pre-sterilized and when you mix it with distilled water, it will last for several weeks. It is made by Lineco and you might be able to get it at an art supply store or online. It is the gold standard in adhesives for artwork because it is easily reversible, by art conservators.
